DC31-00054A Washer Drain Pump Water Motor Assembly Replacement for Washing Machine Replaces PS4204638 AP4202690 DC31-00016A

Installed this pump in a friends Samsung washer and it lasted about 3 weeks before she smelled burning and the unit would no longer drain. Took the washer back apart to find the plastic casing of the pump had partially melted and burned. Luckily this was on the last day of the return window and Amazon made that easy.

Product came quickly, was easy to install, as described and washer is running like brand new. My business depends on clean sheets for my Reiki tables. So I was pleasantly surprised when the product fit properly didn’t need to be modified and was exactly as described and showed up quickly.

Worked great! My drain pump in my washer went out and instead of paying somone over $300 to fix it, I did it myself for $50. Part came fast and was in pristine condition. Very happy!!

Used as a replacement for a failed pump in my Duet washer. These seem to fail every few years. A LOT cheaper than replacing the whole darn washer. And super simple to replace DIY.

It arrived oily and didn't last even a month which is about 4-5 cycles before I smelled something burning. Packaging itself was a red flag about this pump, electronic part in just thin box without any padding! If you are looking for this pump and reading this review, please spend little more and get better quality part that would save you money in long term.
