Great fish scaler
I've scaled my seabass by hand with a fish scaler and it got old especially doing 10-20dish at a time. So I decided to give this scaler a try. Wow, I wish I bought this thing long ago. I've processed 20 seabass ranging from 1.5 to 4lbs. And there was plenty of power left over.I've got one bit of advice:Watch your hands! This scaler will tear you up, it won't care if it's fish scales or skin or bones from you... be safe, thanks for reading

Too much power
This tool works and gets the job done but has too much power. Wish it has multiple speeds so you can slow it down. My cordless screwdriver actually works better because I can select the low rpm speed. Does an excellent job except it gets heavy after awhile and it's not water proof. I've used this tool on crappies and because of the one high rpm speed, it tears up not just the scales but the skins too. Fish scales are flying all over the place, causing a mess to clean up. Watch out for that finger too. Thinking of returning.

Not for freshwater fish
You have to be very careful when using this tool I brought this because my son fishes a lot and he brings me buckets of fish I ordered the electric scaler to be able to clean 20+ Quickly this thing will take the skin/meat off your fingers if not careful I didn’t like the fact that it is so bulky it’s not good for fresh water fish as will take off the skin
