This is a high quality cotton apron that is very well put together and very well finished. The material is strong and feels hard wearing without being too heavy or bulky. In fact it has a softish feel which makes it comfortable to wear and use. I really like that the eyelets are metal and the straps are a webbing material which should help prolong the useful life of the apron and makes it easy to put on and off. Another nice touch is the leather style tabs on the end of the straps to prevent them coming undone and to prevent them falling out of the eyelets.The apron is very easy to put on, just slip your head through the top space between the straps, and can be easily adjusted by pulling on the webbing straps at the sides. The length of the straps makes this a great option for pretty much anybody as there is plenty of length to fit most body sizes and shapes.I really love the pockets which are a level up from the more usual open 'patch' style ones. The small breast pocket has a leather style loop above it, to secure longer items and/or handles and the main body pocket has a very useful closing flap for protection. I also like the narrow pockets, either side of the main one, which are great for thin narrow items that can often get lost in a single, larger front pocket. I really appreciate that the apron is machine washable which makes caring for it so much easier.Whilst this apron would be a great addition to a kitchen, for cooking or using at the BBQ, I think it really comes into it's own in the workshop or studio, particularly because of the design features mentioned above as well as the pocket arrangement.Highly recommended.

Am I impressed with this apron or what? It's fab! I haven't a bad thing to say about it. Admittedly, it took me a little bit of time to figure out how best to handle it to get it on, given that I've never had a cross-back apron before, but as soon as I was in it, pulled the straps and tied it on, I looked in the mirror and I was delighted. Damn, girl, you look good in this, I said to myself! Yes, it's a handsome apron indeed and, for once in my life, I feel good in an apron. I dunno what it is, I guess the way it sits on me, it just makes me look waaay less frumpy than I do in, for example, my stripy waxed cotton kitchen apron. Maybe the straps are at just the perfect height for my waist or something. I dunno, I haven't worked it out. All I know is I look better in this apron than in any other apron I've worn, like, ever.Am I going to wear it to wash dishes? Hell, no. This is my new artist's apron, darling, and I'll be wearing it in my newly created little spare-room studio for creating works of art. I saw another reviewer saying they couldn't think what they'd use the narrow side pockets for. Paintbrushes and pencils, mate!Additionally, I love the little leatherette strap on the front above the breast pocket. Just perfect for hooking my glasses onto.So, yes, all in all, this is a lovely-quality pinny and I consider myself very lucky indeed to have been sent it to test and review.

Green Apron. This apron is made of a medium weight green cotton canvas fabric with contrasting stitching in yellow. It seems really well made and really well finished. One of the really good features are the large metal eyelets at the top of the apron where the straps are attached with a clip and at the sides where the straps go through. The straps themselves cross and pass through a mock leather patch at the back. This form of attachment and the cross over back mean that there is no strap around the neck and the positioning on the body is adjustable for any size and any height. Aprons with the traditional neck strap and side straps rarely fit, but this design allows for the perfect fit.I am not sure what I will use the apron for as it seems too nice to use for crafting, especially resin, as it may well get damaged. Perhaps I will use it in the garden as soil will wash off and not ruin the pristine look! Certainly the green colour will go well in the garden.

I work for myself making shoes, so I use lots of hand tools and machines, but never got around to getting an apron until now.I'm pleasantly surprised with this, it's made of good-quality cotton fabric with metal eyelet fittings and webbing straps. The brown leather details aren't made of real leather, but they've used good quality artificial leather and it looks the part. In addition, it means you can wash it without damaging the 'leather' parts.The best thing is the fit, I'm a 1.65 metre/5ft 5" female, and it fits me perfectly. It's very easy to adjust in terms of size and it would literally fit someone very big to someone smaller than me.I like the leather tabs with brass rivets and eyelets and the contrast top stitching, I also like the big kangaroo pocket on the front, very practical for putting my phone, keys, tools etc. I have the green version, which wouldn't usually be my choice, but with the light brown leather and stitching, it's traditional and effective.I even feel super practical when I'm wearing it, once I put it on I feel like I'm ready for physical work, once I've finished with emails and so on, it focuses me...I'm glad I ordered it, it's already made a difference in my work because I don't have to worry about damaging my clothes so much.
