Worked as designed.
Needed these to check the operation of the bolt on my H & R .22 bolt action rifle after cleaning and reassembly of the bolt extractors, springs and plungers. First with the bolt out. I checked to see how they fit into the front of the bolt and extractors. Fit and held in pretty good. Loaded just 3 into the magazine, pulled the trigger on the first one, then with the other 2 left in the magazine to see how they fed. I chambered and ejected them. Functioned smoothly with no jams. Left the firing pin mark on the first one as it should. Repeated this and all went well. They worked as they should in my rifle.

Great for dry firing and cycling
They are working fine in my Ruger Precision Rimfire rifle for dry firing and cycling.

Great snap caps. A little lighter than real rounds.
Pretty good snap caps. They come with replacement primers and a key to change them. I dry fired a dozen or so times with them and they feel like they will last a while. The orange tip is wonderful for knowing that you don't have a live round chambered. They chamber and eject as expected when the slide is racked. My only complaint is the weight isn't quite as heavy as any of my live rounds. This does give a slightly different feel to the gun vs when you have real ammo in. Again, not huge deal, they do have some weight to them, but I feel like a little more attention to getting that right would go a long way. It's probably due to the use of plastic instead of metal tips.

Excellent training aid - good weight, durable, feeds well
This is a great training tool for any shooter, from novice to master. While most modern firearms can be dry-fired without damage, it's still good practice to use snap caps while dry firing. These snap caps give the firing pin a soft target to hit every time. They are also a good training aid for training to deal with malfunctions during the course of fire. Have a friend set up your magazine for you, incorporating one or two of these snap caps somewhere in the magazine. When you experience a malfunction during your course of fire, you can perform your immediate action procedures to render the firearm operational again. It's a good way to get these procedures ingrained in memory to where they become automatic.Overall, these are quality snap caps and an excellent training tool. Every shooter should have them in their training kit.

Great for Practice Without Wasting Ammo
I ordered these orange snap caps to practice loading my 380. They feel close to real bullets in my hand and in the gun. The bright orange color makes them easy to spot so I never mix them up with real ammo. They work perfectly for practicing at home without using up expensive bullets. These dummy rounds really help with my loading drills and clearing jams. The rubber pad protects my gun when I dry fire. I like that they come with extra rubber pads and a metal tin for storage. They slide into the chamber smoothly and cycle through my gun just like the real thing.

Poorly designed. Shell lip not thick enough to prevent firing pin strike through.
Don’t like these snap caps. When chambered and fired in my Browning Buckmark Camper the firing pin strike created a sharp “burr” on the opposite side of the shell lip (i.e. shell lip is too thin. Not as thick as a .22 brass shell casing). I tested this out three times and confirmed that it happens every time the firing pin hits the back of a shell. Yes, each shell has the black striker backing attached but it didn’t prevent the burr from forming. I didn’t find a mark or scratch on the breach block, but I won’t be taking any chances with these snap caps. I’ll be throwing these in the trash.

High quality snap caps with replaceable rubber primers
These Befbox 38SPC Snap Caps are well made and ever-so-slightly smaller in diameter than the typical live round. The snap caps load easily, whether individually or with a speedloader. Because of the loose fit (and lack of case expansion after cycling a live round), I did not need to use the extractor to unload the snap caps. I tried the snap caps in several revolvers, and they functioned flawlessly in each. After several hundred cycles: the rubber primers show slight indentations, but no damage. I like that the set comes with replacement rubber primers and a tool to help with the replacement. 38SPL is laser etched into the side of each case.

Heavier than some
These are decent snap caps. They came in a metal tin, which is nothing special, but better than a plastic bag. They are dimensionally accurate so they should cycle properly. They do come with replacement rubber primers so they should last a long time. They are heavier than some other snap caps that I own so they feel more like actual ammo when I'm the magazine. I don't know how much this matters, but it can't hurt. All in all they seem like a good value.
