This Book by Er Shea is awesome text with thorough signal path of studio equipments and everything written fundamentally i admire the author for mentioning heart of recording either analogue or digital ,calibration metering etclovely.Regards

Mr. Shea's book is the most comprehensive work I have read on this subject. He explains in detail the science and art of studio recording. Because of his lifetime of experience in the field he is uniquely qualified to write on this topic. I highly recommend this book to any aspiring recordists.

I bough this thinking it would give a noobie technician like me an easy to read guide to studio recording but no, no guys, this is for engineers and it's very technical. I gave up after 10 pages. When I become a PHD in a parallel life I may resume reading :)
