BirkenstockWomen's Arizona Birkoflor Soft Footbed

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks; the first one lasted over 10 years until the dog chewed one up. I tried some cheap ones after that but none were as comfortable as the real thing.While getting ready to go on vacation to the shore this year I broke down and bought another pair; I'm pone of those people that buys $20 Wal-mart running shoes because I don;t take care of them, but had no second thoughts about paying $120 for another pair of these.Incidentally, because Birkenstocks were hard to find with all the current supply chain issues, I nabbed the last pair of these in my size available on here as soon as I found them. At the time I also checked the manufacturer;s site and although they did not have the ones I wanted I saw they had available in my size a camo model made of their new synthetic upper leather rather than the real thing, on clearance for $50. A couple days later, after thinking it over I went back and ordered them for running around in the yard so i could save my expensive real leather ones for going out places. I actually like them better, although camo is not my style; the upper part is softer and more comfortable.I mean, no wonder they were on clearance and probably did not sell very well; who in their marketing department thought that up anyway? Camo clothing and and Birkenstock sandals are kind of like two opposite customer demographics, right?

I was hesitant to get these because I was told that they aren't always legit brand off amazon. I went ahead and ordered them anyway and am glad I did! I wore them on a vacation that was 95 % walking and they saved my feet! I also accidently got them wet and was so scared they were ruined... not at all! They dried quickly and I have had zero complications

They fit good and are comfortable.

If you have worn Birkenstocks and understand how the sizing works then there is no issue and fit as you would expect! Love these sandals and have multiple pairs. I tend to wear them until they fall apart, which takes YEARS! I have a pair that are over a decade old and still in great condition!!!

These are my ride or die. Never thought I’d be one to walk around with socks and sandals but these are just so comfortable! I walk my dogs in them and wear them to run errands.

Sometimes a good deal isn’t. But I like the shoes. I bought these for a good price, but there probably was a reason. They did not come in a box, simply loose in an Amazon shipping bag. The label on the shoes said, “New in Box.” Ironic. The left shoe fit much looser than the right. I purchased a hole punch from Amazon to tighten it up. $$ When I was making the adjustment to the shoe, I compared the straps to the other shoe. It was 1/4” longer. Explains the difference. The labeling on the shoes is the same. It must be a factory mistake. Judging by the missing box and the good price, I would say someone else returned them. I probably should have to, but I have been really wanting a pair of Birkenstock sandals. Wish me luck. I hope they become my favorite sandals and I forget about the rough start.

She wears them everywhere including school, they support well and she says they are so comfortable

I bought EU size 40 (US size 9). It definitely fits like a size 9.5, or maybe even a 10. I wouldn't definitely size down, even if you have wide feet. I am constantly having to remove pebbles from my feet or making sure that these don't come off.Otherwise, quality is off the charts. Love the look of Birks and they mold well to your foot. I just have an extra inch of space that prevents the fit from being perfect.

Eigentlich schreibe ich keine Bewertungen. Aber ich bin so verärgert und möchte dies weiteren Kunden ersparen.Nach der insgesamt 2ten Ersatz Lieferung musste ich somit beim 3. Paar auch feststellen, dass die Verklebung mangelhaft ist. Entweder quillt der Kleber sichtbar raus und an anderen Stellen fehlt Kleber. Was bei Birkenstock’s nicht der gewohnten Qualität entspricht. Ich rief bei Birkenstock an, diese liefern seit Jahren nicht mehr direkt an Amazon. Somit verkauft Amazon Birkenstock’s nur über andere Händler, jedoch nicht direkt aus dem Werk. Ich gehe davon aus, dass teilweise B-Ware oder sogar gefälschte Ware im Umlauf ist.Gerade kam meine Bestellung direkt von Birkenstock an, siehe da, die Qualität und Verarbeitung ist Ast rein!Hier sieht man, ein paar Euros sparen lohnt sich machmal nicht.Viele GrüßeEin enttäuschter Kunde

I didn’t keep the pair I ordered. Loved the colour, but the fit was a bit off.They are genuine suede but of the floppy sort, so the top of the sandal didn’t hold its shape well. The straps were very long too and if had kept them I would have had to add an extra couple of holes for the buckles.The footbed f the sandals was apparently the “soft fit” I wasn’t aware that Birkenstock’s did this. I am used to the firm footbed that eventually moulds to the shape of your own foot.Because of the various oddities of this particular pair of Birks I can only give them 3***s They were unusual for Birks and I have to have at least one pair of Birks in my life at any time. If you are new to the brand don’t let this one strange pair put you off, Birks are the best sandals you will ever wear.

I did my homework and measured my foot as per the guidance on the Birkenstock website to make sure I ordered the right size. I am a UK 4/EUR 37 usually but ordered a EUR 36 as per their site and fits like a glove. I believe this model only comes in narrow fit so I would really recommend measuring your feet as you may need to size up if they are wide.

I recently researched the best footwear for the foot issue metatarsalgia, which I suffer with. Birkenstock’s are supposed to help people who have this condition, as well as other foot problems.But I have an issue. I ordered my size, which came no problem. But it’s like trying to walk around the house with a canoe strapped to each foot! They’re massive!!! In fact, they are that big, you could strap one shoe to each end of a pole and go sailing in a real canoe!Don’t get me wrong, these are fairly well made, and if they were fitted properly they might have been good for my feet. But only if the buckles were fitted properly! When I first put them on, I was cut by a sharp piece of metal sticking through the strap from the buckle!!So, if you order a completely different size to yours (just guess, as it will be closer than your actual size) and you get lucky and they fit properly, and if they don’t shred a layer of skin from the top of your foot, these might be a decent buy. But these have already made my feet worse.

I have always liked these sandles; the ergonomic footbed feels weird at first, but rapidly just feels right, so I wear them around the house and garden. Sadly, I can't say I'll buy any again because, the glue fails. It's a shame because they're useless when the straps pull out from between the sole and foot bed, and the sole delaminates from the footbed at the front 1/2 too.I tried re-gluing these with gorilla glue (foaming polyurathane glue). It worked, but I wouldn't recommend it as the foam did expand to fill the gaps, but then pushed the pieces apart a little (soon crushed down again, but it was uncomfortable for a few hours). Anyhow, the re-gluing has steadily failed again. When it goes completely, they'll go in the bin.Sad to see the quality from this company has dropped in such an avoidable way. I'd have happily paid an extra £0.50p for the privelege of a pair that actually stayed together, but it happens with trainers too, so perhaps there's an industry problem with the glue they now use.
