Perfect to let the dog hang his head out the window. It does not stretch. More like a leash. My dogs like it. I think they feel more secure.

Great purchase

Good for use with pet car seats
I bought these to use over the headrests on our vehicles but they weren’t long enough. We ended up using them in our pet car seats to give our dog a little extra room in his seat to move around.
