As an operator for an answering service I found the great blessing of having both hands free to type and get important message to the proper destination. I also find the clarity is essential as well for both parties. Now I have the same hands free for my life off time as I have at work. I can safely drive, clean dishes, or even landscape hands free while talking on the phone. Not only that, my friend who needs hearing aids finds bluetooth as a blessing. She has no need to keep her hearing aids in as these are plenty loud on their own. All I need to do is say "answer" without touching a button and I am talking. It is not essential to be a truck driver to have one, as this is a very useful addition to anyone tired of neck cramps holding their phone to their ear with their shoulders. These are simple to use with little knowledge of high tech skills. Just try one and you will have to have one. That is all there is to it. It is worth the cost.

Pro - Works with all my devices that have Bluetooth capability. I've received comments that the audio is nice and clear, and that it doesn't pick up any environmental noises inside the vehicle (fan on full blast, or wind noise from window cracked open).Con - Will not turn on if it's been left in an environment that the air temperature drops below freezing. I confess that I haven't re-read the instructions/owners manual and it may state this, BUT I live in an environment that it can get below freezing for 4-6 months out of the year. I've resorted to bringing the headset indoors if I'm going to be inside for any length of time. Alternately, other remedies are to hold it in my enclosed hand, placing it inside a jacket against your body, or in front of a vehicle vent blowing hot air for a couple of minutes. This will warm it up enough to enable power up and use.

I needed a headset that would work in very noisy places and I already was pleased with the noise cancellation of the 350XT I got. This headset works just as good or better. One of the main reason I got this headset (besides it being the latest and greatest) was for the behind the head headband due to wearing hats. It feels and fits great. One thing I wish they did was to have placed some of the buttons on the sides such as the mode button or the MFB (multi function button). As they are now, you got to really feel which button of 4 you are touching. I feel would have made for a better headset.

Sorry, Blue Parrot, but I've used your headsets since the 150 and this is awful. It sits oddly on your ear near the front of the earhole so it always feels like it's slipping off or in the wrong place. It does function properly but the software on this one that syncs contacts is bad. Same as the 450. When a call comes in it says "call from XXXX, answer or ignore". Well, it takes a few seconds to do that and the phone has rang 2 times already. If you don't respond quick enough it will then say "press MFD to answer". If you press that it won't work and then you touch the answer button on the phone. Don't do that because then it answers but theres no transmitting of your voice so the caller can't hear you and of course hangs up immediately. Best to not allow contact sync and it reverts back to the 350/250 software which just allows you to press the button to answer either on the headset or phone.Also, if you are used to the 250/350/450 these buttons aren't in the same place. They are all wrong and they move with the mic instead of the mic being independent. That means you will be hanging up constantly or not answering. Try it and you'll see. It's a poor design that wasn't tested. The mic doesn't quite bend the same way either making it annoying because I don't want to talk to everyone around me, I want to talk to the person on the other line.Lastly, the headband has adjustment points to fit your head. The issue is that these are held in place by "detents" that give you maybe 5 sizes. The detents aren't strong, like on the 350, so every single time you grab the headset to move it into place the headband then slides all the way open to the largest size and you have to reset. This happened constantly to the point I went back to the 350. I love the 350 and will keep it.Also the neck back holder thing is a useless joke. You can tell a skinny child was used as the design model for it and it was never tested not even once. It was just put into production. I'll bet they spent more money, time, and resources on the marketing artwork than they did on the development of this C400.BlueParrott quality, is, however, unmatched. Still sounds awesome and talks awesome. You can mow grass and your caller will have no clue. You don't have to talk loudly either.

This is a great product. My husband has had several blue parrot devices in the past and he says that they are top notch.

This headset doesnt like cold weather. Itll shut off and wont turn on till it warms up. Also wont charge if its too cold.

Bought for my husband as he is a truck driver- he loves it! Asked for a second one for his pickup.

This product is advertized as working up to 300 ft. However, it performed more poorly than cheaper bluetooths I've had. The upper limit was more like 30 ft. After several weeks, it started shutting itself off and I had to restart it everytime. I will never buy another Blue Parrot bluetooth. Had I known that they were the company that also made Jaba bluethooths I never would have bought it because the Jaba ones have also given me grief in the past. Thankfully, I ordered through Amazon and was able to send it back at no charge and get a full refund.

Has connectivity issues and can be hard to set up but works great after that. Well worth the price!

Purchased this headset for my husband, who is on the road every day. He loves this headset. He has to wear a hard hat and said the way it wraps around the back of his neck and over his ears works perfectly!!

After a while it just stopped getting charged. Feels like i wasted a lot of money
