Into The Storm [DVD] [2014]

The DVD from Warners is 16.9 ratio (fills my TV screen), with very good sound (see below) and picture, plus subtitles and extras (behind the scenes doc.) How did this one creep under my/the radar? It is a brilliant thriller and then some. The CGI/SFX are among the best I have seen (and I have seen a few "disaster" movies). The pace is pretty well relentless and I was surprised at how involved I was. The script, whilst no Oscar contendeder, does what is important and makes you care about the characters. Perhaps the film is not so well known because of the lack of big star power. Sarah Wayne Callies (from "Walking Dead is good as is Alycia Debnam Carey ("Fear the WD" and "The 100" as Lexa) Richard Armitage may cause furrowed brows, but, yes, he is English and was in, among many shows in U/K, "Spooks". All go through hell for their art. If you have good sound repro on your TV you will have an added bonus. Highly recomended to thriller fans and fans of the ladies.

A splendid Blu-ray transfer of an enjoyable disaster movie featuring Richard Armitage at the start of his film career.

The special effects are brilliant. What spoils this film, is the idiot kids who think its fun to take photos of a tornado. The story is a good one, watch it as it is worth watching but there are at least 2 of the kids who think its all just fun and games. Obviously they are plain stupid. The rest of the film is very good. I usually write up quite a bit about a film, although this one would have been much better without those kids being stupid. The last 30 minutes is very good. As I have said I will not spoil it for anyone else though. It is well worth a watch. PC. 19. 12. 2017.

This is a disappointing show as there was just a few bits of far fetched scenes that ruined this for me. Maybe my expectations were based on previews that showed the best parts. But still I'm getting over it and can say this would have being a lot better if some scenes were taken out. I rated this a B grade plus that it's still watchable the action is there and suspense that will take you on a roller coaster ride in parts. My opinion only so settle in for a night of action that will have you wrapped up in the story and don't forget the munchies while relaxing in you chair. Enjoy!

a massive tornado starts to form as it heads for a mid west town in tornado alley.two dudes trying to get on you tube by doing stunts.a high school principle and his sons his sons who have been chosen to video tape stuff for a time capsule ,stormchasers with the TITUS a fortified hurrican vehicle,and a town bring a great film with absolute fantastic special effects to the best tornado film ever, will all get through as they call tornados of f5 (disaster hurricanes ) and (the finger of god),get it now seriousely recommend

Prompt service. Worth watching if a fan of Richard Armitage, but a bit of a waste of his incredible talent.

Couldn't get this movie to work in any of my DVD players or Blu Ray or computer. 👎👎👎👎
