Fast, great price, high quality, perfect for work or personal usage, versatile configurations
I bought this Acer for work purposes, but due to how well it works, I use it for personal reasons as well! It’s smaller than the average pc, which makes it easy to take with me. It operates quickly, looks cool, and is awesome due to the fact that it has a touch screen and can be used like a tablet. Also the Acer chrome book is durable and I have received a ton of compliments on how cool it looks. It has all of the google plug ins and is overall a steal for the price. I can only recommend this product!

Perfect Chromebook combination of performance, specs and low price
I knew I wanted a Chromebook that was light and powerful, with an SSD memory, touchscreen and tablet mode and found this one on Amazon fairly quickly in November just before Black Friday. The price was too good to be true and so I guessed there must be other choices elsewhere. But as time went on and I kept finding Chromebooks with cheap eMMC drives, 3-star reviews, considerably higher prices, I kept coming back to this Acer R11.It's very light, has the latest Intel Celeron quad core processor, 32GB of SSD drive and then during Black Friday I got a 128GB SD card for less than $15 that virtually disappears into the SD card slot - this is now a perfect combo for my needs now - very happy customer !

Hushmail Challenges Resolved with Microsoft Office Basic Purchase
Chromebook/Google customer service has ridiculous wait times, and I never did get through, but I was able to solve various word processing problems with Hushmail by downloading Microsoft Office Basic and converting attachments to PDF. Otherwise I couldn’t attach to Hushmail. Still getting used to Chromebook and not a fan of auto store on cloud, but great value for a large touch screen laptop fairly lightweight. Wallpaper resolution is disappointing.

Two for One
I've only had this for a few months, but it works well. Touch is sensitive and responsive. Graphics quality is good. Great having a keyboard, then switching to tablet mode. Compactness is a plus for travel; work to play. Really enjoying it.

Great
I love my Chromebook. I had an old one, but this touchscreen one is awesome. It's fast, user friendly, and when you flip the screen over it locks the keyboard so you can't accidentally type. Perfect for my classes and for portable work. Like all Chromebooks it functions like a tablet, so you install apps not programs. The memory capacity is small but can use an sd card. I only use it for portable work and have my home base for saving files.

This is actually a REFURBISHED model
Purchased two of these on 12/1/19 as Christmas gifts-- perfect for a 6th and 8th grader. Long battery life, touch screen is great. MIcrophone on my daughter's stopped working during quarantine-- really need that for school at home. Called Acer knowing that my purchase date was well within the 1 year warranty and was informed, after providing the serial number, that the chromebook was actually a refurbished model and that the warranty had expired in September of 2019. There was NOTHING from the seller that this chromebook (R11) was a refurbished model and it arrived in manufacturer's packaging so I had no reason to think otherwise. So, what's going on, Amazon? Your customers should be informed when they are purchasing used products-- seems like BAIT and SWITCH to me. So, do your homework and contact the seller directly to see what you're getting. Luckily I purchased the Asurion extended protection service and they are going to take care of the microphone issue for me. They were awesome to work with and are sending a pre-paid box so that I can ship the chromebook to be repaired. Highly recommend you getting this since you're buying MISREPRESENTED, REFURBISHED merchandise from Amazon. PS-- I only paid 259 for each Chromebook and I see that the price is now 400+ Not worth it, price gouging too!

We love these :)
We love these! We had 1 last year and bought a second this year. We use them for our homeschool. The kids use them for online math, they use the word processing for writing newsletters (and love that google saves it so it doesn’t matter which laptop they are on, it’s saved and they can pull it up and work on it), they use it to watch movies, YouTube, etc. They’ve dropped them and they’ve survived. A good product.

OK, but could be better
It's small, and it's light, and has good battery life. However, two things bug me. One is that it's hard to open. There are no finger depressions to grip. The second is a "biggie" as far as I'm concerned... The usable screen size is much smaller than I expected. There is a black band around the screen that greatly reduces the viewable area. The resolution is good, but a larger viewing area would be a great improvement.
