Id Skin Buffing Cleansing Scrub Cleansing for Treated Skin

I have used dozens of cleansers in my lifetime but i always come back to this one. I swear on this cleanser to calm my skin. After just one use it did its job and my skin is a lot smoother, supple, cleaner and calmer. No more tiny acne dots around my upper lip.

I like this product. At last I can exfoliate my skin without it turning red and stinging afterward. Rather, my skin feels smooth, clean, and refreshed with zero pain. Just make sure you follow the directions on the back, because too much scrubbing can irritate your skin.I recommend this to anyone, whether they have allergies or not.

I like this. It's pH-adjusted, contains 1.0% salicylic acid as its active ingredient, is 100% free of fragrances, most allergens, dyes, phthalate, paraben and preservatives, is supposed to be non-comedogenic and non-drying, and is for all skin types and for both men and women.I have old skin, not problem skin susceptible to breakouts, but old skin can make good use of salicylic acid as an exfolliant to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and expose newer, fresher skin. For this purpose, I have always had good results with both salicyclic acid and glycolic acid. And this particular scrub can be used daily, it's that mild. It is recommended that you use it in the shower, allowing the hot steam there to open your pores to allow the scrub to work even more efficiently. Sometimes I do this; sometimes I just use the scrub to wash my face at the sink. My skin feels nicely clean either way.So, as I said earlier, I like this. I'm not going to give it 5 stars because it has approximately 16 inactive ingredients, none truly objectionable but some, such as butylene glycol or sodium laureth sulfate (which can be contaminated and can be an allergen to some people), are not particular favorites of mine. Of course, if you're not a purist about what goes on your face, this is a very good washing scrub.

I generally use an exfoliating product on my face during my morning shower...usually it's either a popular drugstore brand or even a store brand, so I was curious about this product. The texture was maybe a bit creamier than some of the other scrubs I have tried, although the scrubbing properties seemed similar. I did notice that the product had a strong fragrance--not unpleasant, sort of like a classic bar soap--but that did not bother me.In terms of effectiveness, this product leaves my skin feeling clean, but no more or less so than other scrubs I have tried. I did try out this product's claims of helping with razor burn by using it in places where I am prone to that (e.g., my underarms and my bikini line). I did NOT find this product to be helpful for reducing the shaving bumps I often get in those areas. So, in the end, I found this to be a nice facial scrub product, but not one that really stands out from any others that I have tried.

This seems to be a company that really cares about their consumers skin. It appears that they go the extra mile in testing their products and care about the environment. My teenaged daughter has been undergoing microdermabrasion appointments. Her face is oily, black head prone and has many clogged pores that lead to infected acne. Microdermabrasion has helped her face calm down and this cleanser is gentle enough for her to use ever other day while she is getting treatments. Now to be honest, her pores still fill but at least while using the product she feels that she is keeping on top of it. When she stopped her pores became severly clogged and new blackheads appeared as well as pimples. So while I do not believe this is a miracle product, I can vouch for it when it comes to being a pure product that will not irritate already sensitive skin.Highly recommend, even though it is a bit pricey. Still not as costly as other brands like Dermalogica.

My skin is sensitive so I rarely exfoliate my skin, especially my face. Some scrub products made my skin red. This VMV hypoallergenic skin-buffing cleansing scrub does a great job on exfoliating my face without irritating the skin. It left my skin soft and clean. The best part is that it is so gentle that it can be used everyday. I have many body exfoliating products but I always forgot to use it because they can only be used once per week.I always appreciate that it is a fragrance-free, paraben + Preservative-Free product. But I noticed that it contains alcohol (in the other ingredients listed Stearyl Alcohol), not sure if it’s a typo. As I know, some skin type is allergic to alcohol, so better test before put it on face. Although it is fragrance-free, it smells good. I like this product a lot, but the price is a little bit high.

I used the VMH Hypoallergenic ID Skin-buffing Cleansing scrub with my facial scrubber  Remington Reveal Facial Cleansing Brush, FC1000B  and was pleased with the procedure and results. I applied the scrub to various parts of my face and neck and a dab to the scrub brush head. It was a slick feeling but with tiny small grains that I could feel exfoliating my skin. I have nearly 60 year old skin, but with few wrinkles. However, I play a lot of tennis and get small dry patches on my cheekbones (despite using a good sunscreen) that need exfoliating every now and then. The VMV did not completely remove the dry patches, but neither has any other facial scrub. It usually takes several exfoliations to get them removed completely.This product has no smell (good!) and though my skin did not feel dry after using it, I still needed to apply a good moisturizer. I like this facial scrub, but honestly can't really tell that it does any better than the other facial scrubs that I have used. My face did not turn red or break out in a rash, but felt smooth and soft especially after applying a moisturizer.
