Porcini Dried Mushrooms - Wild | Vacuum sealed | USDA Organic (4 oz)

We have ordered these before, the package we received on our order before this one was amazing- strong aroma, no hard bits, very flavorful. This order was a bit of a disappointment- weak aroma, some hard bits, and the flavor was OK, but nothing to Riverdance about. We use about 1-1.25 lbs of these per year, ordering 4 oz at a time. We re-order when we run out, so poor storage is not the issue. It may have to do with resourcing, etc....but just telling it like we taste.

Mushrooms were nice size, i boiled them in water, saved the water for the borsht i made for Christmas and used some of the mushrooms for ooshku, resemble tortellini, to eat with the borsht and the rest for stuffed cabbage of rice, mushrooms and onions. Delicious. I was extremely pleased with the mushrooms.

Although some of the mushrooms were fresh there were a good portion that were not fresh as well that were really dark and you could tell where all that were put in there along with a fresh ones otherwise I would have given them a better rating

I usually do not wright reviews, but these are soooooo goooood! I couldn’t find that quality anywhere! I can cook my favorite mushroom dishes anytime! I’m a vegetarian and it is important for me that food is both healthy AND tasty. Even my non-vegetarian family members like it! And price is good for these amount. Highly recommend!

Takes a while to get them redone - peresoanlly I wan't that impressed with the flavor. Not buying again.

I'm not the first time buying mushrooms of this company. Excellent quality, good packaging, enough for making soup for a family of four. Highly recommend for real connoisseurs of organic food.

This product arrived and half of it was dust. So disappointing. Nothing like the image.

Nice package of porcinis. I can't wait to try them.
