This particular talc came from overseas and it's way to pricey. It is not as good as the regular caldesene powder that I can get for around $5 on Amazon and I find it works much better for me.

I had my son in 1980. He came home from the hospital with the worst rash EVER His poor orangutan looking bum was almost falling off. I could hardly wait to see his pediatrician. My poor kid was allergic to the zinc in an ointment that the nurses kept putting on him. The Doc told me to use ONLY Caldesene Medicated powder and NO ointments of any kind. ALSO, to keep the baby washed, DRY and changed immediately at all timesMY son NEVER had another rash in his life. Also i use this powder for the folds of my skin, under the arms, and in leg hollows. After the 90's, I thought that this powder was gone forever (as it used to be widely available in the baby dept.) Now i only see the new zinc powders from Caldesene. (the all pink bottle and all blue bottle) I was bummed and resorted to using just cornstarch powder for myself.............Well, NOW, my son has his first child and I found the missing POWDER here on Amazon. YIPPEE and boy is his wife and himself relieved. All those ointments do is create a big mess to clean off and they lock in the bacteria. THIS powder repels water, fights bacteria, heals, and washes off much easier. Personally i think that it is NOT to heavily perfumed otherwise i couldn't use it due to allergies. Also as with any powder be careful as to how it is applied especially to a baby Keep away from the eyes and face apply sparingly. a little goes a long way PS works for jock itch and athelete's foot too

Absolutely brilliant.Highly recommend. Talc is not recommended in the UK for babies or children, however I find this fab for clearing up nappy rash. I put a little on a gauze and fab it on the nappy area. It keeps the nappy rash away, but has also cleared her nappy rash within a day. Highly recommended plus it smells Devine

I mistakenly thought this medicated powder was talc free but not according to the small print on the very small tub so I can’t see why it is so very expensive . Disappointed and not suitable for the person I bought it for.

A lovely delicate powder, perfect for sensitive baby and adult skin, delicate scent. Love it.
