I’m new to metal detecting and didn’t want to drop a ton of money on my first one, so I picked this up based on some good reviews and I’m honestly so impressed. For the price, it works way better than I expected. It detects all kinds of metals, and the lcd screen makes it extremely easy to figure out what you’re finding. The display is so clear and easy to read, and it’s lightweight enough to carry around for a couple of hours without getting tired. I’ve already found some coins, a few random bits of metal, and even an old key! It’s super fun and a great way to get outside. If you’re just getting into the hobby like I am, this is a fantastic first detector. Easy to use, reliable, and surprisingly accurate for under $200!!

I’m seriously impressed with this metal detector! Setup was quick and easy, even for someone new like me. It’s lightweight, comfortable to carry, and the display is clear and intuitive. The different modes make it super versatile — I’ve already found coins, bottle caps, and even an old ring at the beach!The depth detection is surprisingly accurate, and it filters out junk metal pretty well. Battery life is solid, and it works great on sand, soil, and grass. I wasn’t expecting to get this much quality for the price.If you're looking for a fun, rewarding hobby or just want a reliable detector for casual treasure hunting, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

This metal detector is a great value. It is easy to use and the strap makes it very easy to carry and operate. First it will make a sound and tell you what type of metal it is. You then use the pin point feature to zone in on the exact location & estimated depth of the item. It works great. I was able to map out some underground power conduit on my property and locate some scrap metal buried by the previous owner. I also found some other miscellaneous items around my property. The depth gauge seems pretty accurate and the sensitivity works well. The included accessories are definitely a plus. It is fun to use, and I intend to use it at the local park and beaches to see what else I can find!

I bought his as an introduction to Metal Detecting. I know absolutely nothing about any of it, and have only seen them used on TV.I figured the reviews and price point were pretty good for something I view as a mild new interest to potential hobby later on.It arrived in a medium sized box and was neatly packaged with several sections to assemble.It took me about 15ish minutes to set it up.I appreciated the easy instructions and little booklet, as I lose patience rather quickly when I get frustrated.This went nice and smooth.It feels well made and all the things that fit together and collapse seem really sturdy. Not worried about a small piece snapping off here and there.It came with a decent set of headphones and a pretty cool small collapsible shovel with serrated edges, compass, and its own carrier/pouch with a belt loop, so you’ll always be prepared if your ready to uncover or dig.The entire Detector is collapsible as well, and had a medium sized backpack type carrier for the entire device.I decided not to learn about sensitivity and distance just yet.I’m just getting comfortable adjusting the seeker up and down ,walking with it, and scanning techniques.It has an arm strap to secure it to you, and can adjust to longer and shorter.It did mildly hurt my arm after my first few trips, as there is a little weight to this product.Later I’ll progress into learning about how to approach a ‘hit’ what’s worth digging for, which area to start, how far down is it, and the possible different metals.On my first and second practice run I got MANY hits, most showed the low end of the Ferrous with the screws/ bolts little icon, and some hits were higher in the 70’s and 90’s.So I’m interested in seeing what I might find.One observation as I’m getting more familiar:I noticed it was hitting in the silver range over the brackets in my garden beds.I’m not sure what metal was used to adjoin the corners and it is a shiny silver color, but that makes me leery of digging in other areas with a similar or higher result( I doubt my garden brackets contain precious metals is my point)Regardless, I need to learn about what the ‘hits’ are indicating, what the sensitivities are , how to adjust them, and how to avoid digging up a tin can.It does not seem overly complicated, but my knowledge level is low.I will enjoy the journey, and am happy with my first ever Metal Detector purchase !

Got this metal detector and it's been a lot of fun to use. Super easy to set up and feels solid but not too heavy. The waterproof coil is a big plus great for beach days. It actually picks up small stuff pretty accurately, which surprised me. The screen is clear and helps a lot when figuring out what you’ve found. If you're just getting into metal detecting, this one’s a solid choice.
