I purchased two of these steps for a neighbour who finds difficulty negotiating steep steps following a knee injury.These steps are certainly not cheap and, basically, consist of a heavy duty plastic rectangle with leveling /height adjusting feet at each corner.However, the most important factis that they work-providing a reassuring stability,minimal flexing and a substantial surface area.Being of simple design there would appear to be little that can go wrong.If it were not for the "hefty" price, I would have rated the unit as 5 Stars.

Having nearly missed an appointment with my GP (thankfully she was running late), after being unable to get out of our front door (even with assistance) falling, being helped back on my feet & finally navigating the high threshold & long drop down I was provoked into buying this.I wish I'd thought of it before.In comparison, getting out of the door (& back in) is a breeze.It feels very solid & safe underfoot.

Disappointed - surface of the half step warped in the hot weather and "gives" making it unsafe to use.

Got this as my step into my home too high. It does the job well but I am a lightweight person and still find that it bends a bit as you step on it.

We have put a rubber car mat on top to make it even more non-slip in bad weather outside our patio doors, and now can't imagine doing without it.

SUFFERING FROM ,SCIATICA AND OSTEOARTHERITIS,THIS HALF STEP,IS NOW INVALUABLE.I THOUGHT A LONG TIME,BEFORE BUYING,AS IT'S NOT EXACTLY CHEAP.LOOKING AROUND IT'S OF HIGHER QUALITY,BIGGER ,IN SIZE AND OF VERY STURDY BUILD.PLEASE DON'T HESITATE.IT WILL HELP YOU IN AND OUT OF THOSE STEEP UP'S AND DOWN'S..!!
