Great sheath, thick leather…Fits Swiss Champ perfectly. I connected my maglite to it and clip it on case..Perfect fit and super nice case.I saw where they are unavailable..If you need a sheath for your champ you his is the best one I have ever had..I love it..It is worth the price because it’s gonna be there later for you.Magnet close is strong…..Easy 5 stars…

This case, which per the packing slip is a product of China, is a extremely well made. High quality leather, perfect even stitching.So why did I give it 4-stars?because even through the packing slip was clearly marked with a sticker with instructions for engraving, in half inch tall letters, to engrave my name on the BACK side of the case....they engraved my name on the FRONT.For you this error might not be a big deal.However I wanted a discrete marking on the back, just to identify it was mine. worst situation for me was putting my name in easy readable large font.So there you have it, an item from the UK, personalized with my name in large letters and a screw up....not returnable.I was going to give it 3 stars but that's not fair. This is a 5 star quality case. But I'm out $30 for something that I will most likely never use

Fits my knife perfectly, good quality build.

I have been searching for a robust belt sheath for my Swiss Champ Swiss Army Knife (SAK). I admit I am hard on them, but was never able to find one that would hold up more than a year. Mostly, the "snap" closure(s) would loosen up causing the knife to fall out when leaning over or during strenuous activity. Also, the back loop around the belt would typically stretch and break. This sheath solved one but not both of these issues. It's a bit pricey compared to others but I considered worth it to get a personalized embossing. I was also pleased to find that it has a very sturdy, wide back loop, secured by four large rivets. The disappointing aspect was that the front closure, which appeared to be a standard push snap in the illustration, was in fact, a very weak magnetic clasp. Not only did this have less than half the holding power of a push snap, it literally fell apart on the second day of use. Rather than return it, and since I liked its other features, I took it to a local shoe repair shop and had them install the turn-button style closure shown in the attached photos. Although it sticks out a little further than I would like, it is easy to manipulate and holds the knife VERY securely. There is also a push-slide closure frequently used on briefcases, purses and the like that would be a better choice for the manufacturer to use rather than the wimpy magnetic clasp.
