Bali Blinds 2" Faux Wood Corded, 39x64", White

They are sturdy and heavy, and more like the blinds of the past. The slats are wider, more like plantation shutters. They totally make the mini-blinds of today look like cheap junk. And we hate the new cordless blinds, so these are still corded and work very well. My mother's cat has been climbing thru her mini-blinds and breaking them, but we don't think he will break these. My husband was able to install them in about 15 minutes.

These are easy to install and a great replacement for vinyl blinds.Faux wood blinds look cleaner, are more vibrant than any vinyl blinds I've used, and do a much better job of keeping the ambient lighting conditions in a room down for when you want to sleep in.I love that the mounting brackets have holes on the outside, top, and rear of the bracket to allow for a few different ways or places to mount the blinds, as well as giving someone concerned about the strength of dry wall or wood multiple points of contact from different directions.I recommend NOT measuring where the screw holes are. Find where you want to place the mounting brackets and then take a pen to quickly trace the inside of the screw holes (all of them) that you intend to drill out. It will make installation MUCH faster. If you happen to be aligning any of the holes with a previously drilled one from a vinyl blind set, you can attach it at that point, then just drill out the remaining contact points without worrying about damaging the bracket or the wall.One important note: I strongly recommend using an extension for the screw driver bit! The bracket is shaped in such a way that it's difficult to hit the screws pointing up (if you mount them inside a window frame) from the bottom, unless you're not mounting them right against the left or right wall, because the drill will force it to go in at an angle, which doesn't really affect the stability anyways.

Blinds work well and are a great price for what you get. The hardware included however, specifically the screws, are absolute trash. Every other screw stripped about halfway through them being screwed into soft wood. I had to use pliers to painstakingly remove the screws because no drill bit or screw driver was able to remove them. Whenever I move out of my house, whoever wants to change the window dressings will have a terrible time removing them due to the screws (that we're able to be used) being completely stripped. Save yourself the time and frustration and buy yourself good screws.

I bought 6 sets of these blinds and have been very pleased. They may be "faux" wood, but the panels have a slight wood grain texture and you really can't tell by handling them that they are not real wood.There are two sets of cords as is typical for this type of blind. One opens/closes the slats, the others raise and lower the shade. At first, I thought the open/close cords operated a bit stiffly... but I made some minor adjustments to the center support which MAY have been interfering with the cords, or they may have just needed some break in time. In any case, everything opens and closes smoothly now.I mounted the blinds above the window in valance boxes I built. I wanted to keep the blinds as close to the window as possible, so I removed the top trim piece above the window (since it would not be visible anyway). Added some sheer curtains as a finish. I'm pleased.

These blinds are sooo nice for the price! I would expect to pay twice what these cost. I bought 3 sets of them. It didn't come with anchors so I bought some. Each set takes 10 screws to hang- 4 on each side and 2 in the middle. I wasn't bothered about using the brackets on the bottom, I think that would be useful if there was a breeze. My only complaint is the finishing topper should cover the full length of the track (and then some!). When it's affixed, there is about an inch of track on either side. Still, a beautiful set of blinds and great quality.

Very nice blind. It came with all the hardware necessary for proper installation. It installed easily and only took approx. 10 minutes. I've read reviews complaining about the screws. I suggest pre drilling holes for the screws. We did and they went in easily. We did an outside mount. The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to include end caps to cover the hardware for out side mounts. For our application I'm not using a valance curtain, so the hardware shows on the ends. It's not a huge issue, but the end caps would give a more finished look.

We love, love, love these. I wish we had purchased them years ago. They fit like a dream and were so easy to install they were out of the box and hung within an hour. We replaced some old 1" metal blinds with these and I was amazed how much more light they let in. They also close out more light if desired. We liked them so much we purchased for entire house. I wish Amazon sold these in other sizes because they were really very nice and the price was great too.

These were a huge surprise! Obviously they are textured plastic and not wood - very obviously not wood, I might add. That's totally fine - I knew that going in. Installation was fine, blind installation is always tedious and this was no more so than others I've hung. The drawing and open/close mechanisms work well and these blinds block light really well. I'd buy them again without hesitation.
