An awesome book, dont be fooled in thinking that it is a colourful and pictorial book ment for kids, it is not. It is an amazing book by some crazy awesome intellectuals for the intellectuals.It has a concise explaination of almost every philosophical idea known to humanity (the ones that matter), and also with art work in the book which make you stare at it and think, and then bring a smile on your face.

Great content, beautiful illustrations, succinct explanations. I would recommend buying the physical book over the Kindle edition as the glossy pages and colourful pictures have their own charm. As for the content, there book summarizes the key work of some top philosophers spanning Eastern and Western philosophy, and covering from ancient and medival to the modern and contemporary world. I wish there was more representation of Indian philosophy in the book though, but that's a separate issue.

This book is amazing!! , reader friendly vocabulary, good chunk of knowledge and flow chart of ideas are the best functions of the book and this is should be read by all age people.

Best book for understanding philosophies of all the philosophers in a very colourful and beautiful way. Just one or two page for every philosopher makes it a fun to read. All pages are colourful. Its other books are also equally beautiful and informative.

A good book for a quick reference on various schools of philosophical thoughts , the underlying theory and their proponents. The presentation is crisp and useful. The idea is to get deeper if one is interested using other sources. This book will give you an idea of how the complete spectrum looks.

Very easy to read, Explains different schools of thought, brief bios, and how philosophers are influenced by other philosophers. Very nice layout and artwork.

très bien fait, simple à lire et à comprendre, surtout pour des personnes comme moi toujours pris par le temps (boulot et enfant) - et avec le confinement en ce moment je prend le temps de bien le lire, y compris la notice de ma TV.
