Maybe I should have bought the more expensive version of this fan? It was harder to install than a normal fan. It looks really great for the price. The light is not my favorite, feels sterile. Overall I like the fan except for when I turn it on it shakes. Initially we spent over an hour trying to balance it and never got it 100% balanced, but it was steady enough. I don't know what happened because after 2 or 3 weeks it started to shake more and more on high. I would have paid $50 more if it came already balanced, because now I am embarrassed to turn it on in front of people.

Not a bad ceiling fan and looks really nice but I had two issues with it. First, the wood blades look really nice however they are not very even the fan was wobbling after install. I used the balancing kit included and it resolved it mostly, but still a little wobbly. Second issue for me was that the low-speed setting stopped working after using it a few times. Medium and high speeds continue to work so I will keep using it however I looked for a support number or email to ask for help and could not locate it on any of the product docs or on the internet.

A couple reviews made us leary of ordering these because they were noisy. When I put the first one together and tested it, mine was loud too. However, it was easy to see that I had forced the motor cover down onto the base of the unit (which spins). I simply loosened the cover screws, adjusted (raised) the cover about an 1/8" (to where I should have attached it in the first place) and it instantly became the quietest fan I've ever installed. Ended up buying a total of 4 (2 for our open concept kitchen/dining area, 1 for our living room, and 1 for our master bedroom. Absolutely love them!

This fan is very nice, it makes a beep every time you change settings which depending on your preference could be good or bad. The person who said it might be refurbished might be right because these are way to nice for the price. Took about an hour and a half to instal 2 fans. Very light and bright. Moves a lot of air for the size, which is do to the blade shape. I had one blade come with a small crack in it. I just took some gorilla wood glue and sealed the crack. This will happen with real wood blades, just goes with the product. But overall I am very happy and will probably get 2 more for my other rooms.

I have bought 3 of these over the past 2 months. In fact, there is one right above me as I type this. These looks great, work great (quiet), are easy to install (the average person should be able to do this.). At first I wasn't sure how much I'd use the remote....but as it turns out I use them a lot. It arrives very well packaged. Took me less than 30 minutes each to install. Compare these the much more expensive ones at Lowes and Home Depot and I think you'll be as happy with them as I am.

Fan looks great, I had a hard time balancing blades I sure this was due to real wood blades. My only complaint would be I wish you could dim the light it is bright. Also be aware downrod is 1/2 inch you can not get them from local hardware stores.

Great fan, it moves a lot of air. The one thing that is a drawback is that mounting bracket is larger than the standard round electrical box, so you will need to put anchors in your ceiling if there are no joists close.

Very contemporary. I was hoping for a more industrial look. It works great. The light is bright. The product comes with a remote to turn the light on as well as speed control of the fan.
