I used this with an adjustable speed angle grinder to polish my marble bathroom countertop after years of neglect (it felt like sandpaper). I figured I would mess it up and have up hire someone to fix it.I used a squirt bottle to keep the marble wet and I took my time. After an hour of work it was glass smooth; it worked really well.This paid for itself in one use.

To be honest, I didn't expect much out of these at all. They got the job I needed done (sanding a concrete countertop). The only complaints are the wear rate, they clog easily when wet sanding and the grit numbers on them are hard to see (on a few of them) and some disappeared after mild use.

Before re-coating our baby blue cast iron tub, I wanted to remove the gloss for better Ekopel epoxy coating adhesion. Wet and dry sandpaper did not touch it. My black sharpening stone was better but taking a lot of effort and time. These diamond polishing pads worked much better. I used my hand drill on slow and plenty of water to avoid dust in the air. Started with 50 grit to get the surprisingly dimply surface uniformly smooth, then the 100, 200 and 400 grit pads, the 50 grit took the longest.The pads last and they adhere very well to the included hook and loop pad. The spindle for the drill screwed in to the rubber hook and loop pad easily. I also got a 2" dia, version of this kit for the inside rounded corners but ended up using the 4" polishing pads but on the 2" rubber drill pad. the 4" disc formed a shallow cup on the 2" rubber base handworked well in the corners.

These pads worked great on finishing a concrete countertop. I would definitely recommend and buy again if needed.

Only a few seconds after using the second disc a chunk flew off and hit my wife while polishing. PPE always necessary but not expected on a brand new disc.

Worked even better than I could imaging! Smoothed the edges of my porcelain tile to make perfect 45 degree angles

Only used a few of the sandpaper and buffering pads but they are durable and good quality..Used it on granite to give it a edge and sand some rough spots plus buff out some light scratches...Came out great..You can used it on a drill or angle grinder.

I had to make a custom stone for arounf the pool skimmer. After it cured I was able to make nicely bevelled edges on the stone. I printed a stamp and it now looks like it was part of the original set of stones.
