American Outdoorsman Men’s Long Sleeve Cotton Shirt for Hunters, Collared Button-Up Clothes/Apparel

Sizing: I prefer the feel of fitted shirts but shooting sporting clays requires mobility so I ordered up one size to ensure unrestricted movement. I normally where a size large, and I found that this shirt in XL is quite long in the sleeves and body--unless there is a big difference in sizing, I believe that a size large would have been sufficient.. Note that I own other XL shooting shirts (Browning and Beretta branded) and they are slightly smaller/shorter. Material: I purchased this shirt wanting a lighter weight and white/beige color to wear through the summer (breathability and reflect sun)--I was expecting something similar to a "safari-type" shirt that wicks away perspiration and assists with drying through evaporation. While the light color does reflect the sun, the material on this shirt is slightly heavier weight (than the Browning Austin), tight weave.cotton that does not wick and evaporate sweat to any greater degree. Seams are sewn well with a good weight thread--I did need to trim several threads that were left long, which indicates a lack of quality control, but not a big deal--two minutes with scissors. Design: The shirt is styled typical of shooting sportswear, with a quilted shoulder patch for right-handed shooters only. There is a pocket beneath the patch for an optional shooting pad insert--not sure what brand pad fits but it is not sized for a Browning Reactar G2, which is taller and narrower than the pocket. Overall, this is a good, quality shirt, just not ideal for hot days.

I picked up this shooting shirt mostly for use at the indoor range and because of the shoulder padding which I thought would be useful when I'm shooting long rifle outdoors.The material is a bit thicker than my other shooting shirt (a Beretta shooting shirt with similar design) but still comfortable and certainly warm. While a bit tighter in the shoulder than my other shooting attire I found the color a nice neutral grey and the fit within reason. Certainly could stand to have some of the features of the Beretta (mainly in the area of the venting slits at the back for warmer weather) but at a much lower cost I think it makes a good add to your shooting attire.

The shirt is made very well, fabric is very nice and stitching and details are worth the cost. It can fit a few different brands of shooting pads in the hidden pocket. But take the advice of others and order 1 size up from your standard clothes. The small size tends to be a bit tight around the arms when you raise it up.

Not sure if I would but again. Nice shirt looks good . Runs small, if your gonna buy, get one size larger . glad I did. Disappointed in the shoulder"quilted patch ", not really any padding. It's just a stitch pattern on a thin cotton material, so no extra help in gun absorbing shock etc. shirt does feel good and looks good on me, the Raven color is a little darker than picture.

Ordered to wear for shooting sporting clays. Shirt was so tight, I could not raise arms to shoulder the gun.I returned the item.

Shoulder pad for hunting was non-existent. I initiated a return, which was accepted. Returned item was shipped and received, but credit never issued. Date expired for return and no way to contact to inquire about return credit. So, total loss of money!

I hunt in Arizona where everything has thorns. This shirt seems heavy enough to survive

Purchased as a birthday gift and I wasn't sure what size to get. Lucky for me I purchased the XL. Normally this person wears a M, but the XL looks like it will fit them just right.The shirt looks great. It seems like it is heavy duty and should last a long time.I would recommend, but I have to take one star off because the size was so far off.
