The way I was able to confirm that it was made of wood, was by the fact that the corners are not perfectly square where they were sanded. I don’t think the recipient would notice unless they have a keen eye. The paint on the back isn’t perfect, but since it’s on the back, most people won’t notice. Since they’re hand made, the one you purchase may or may not have any imperfections. It is very light, but solid enough that it would be hard to break if it were dropped. The most important part is that the front and graphics are clean and the quality is good. If you work with a coworker who is a badass, they will get a kick out of receiving this.

I bought this as a gift and my friend love it. She can't wait to put it on her desk at work.
