Works right out of the box. Couldn't be easier. There are only 4 buttons and one volume knob so learning to operate it while wearing it would take no time at all. All the controls are on the right side and you can easily feel the buttons and operate them once you've learned what each one does. There's also a read-out on the same side that tells you what mode you're in, which radio station, power level, etc. etc. It's well laid out.Probably my only complaint is the volume and the bass which are both lacking, but the sound quality is actually pretty good within the range of volume that's offered. But as far as hearing protection goes (which, I guess would be counterproductive if the volume went too much higher, lol), even with the music off, it offers SUPERB protection. Everything goes quiet as soon as you put them on. I dare to say they're much better than any of the other pairs that I own in that regard.It came fully charged. FM/AM radio worked immediately. Pairing was easy (but I did have to look at the instructions to see the name I needed to pair to, obviously, but that was the only thing I needed the instructions for; everything else was pretty intuitive). And boom, I was off. I would definitely recommend these. I think they're great. But if you're looking for something that you're going to really want to jam out with with deafening volume, I would recommend something else. Otherwise, these are just great.

These Kalence noise reduction headphones are one of those rare finds for me, in the sense that it's a product that truly delivers. Easy to use, excellent sound dampening, good music clarity though volume is somewhat low, great radio reception, stable Bluetooth connection, and they're comfortable to wear. The headphones offer a helpful display and minimal controls to change function or volume. Once you memorize the button layout, you can easily adjust them by touch without the need to look at them. Using them with my lawnmower, and the mower sound is significantly reduced. Haven't tested the limits for runtime as of yet, but a few hours in already and they're still running fine.

These earphones are very heavy duty and very well made. They are noise canceling and fit firmly around the ears. I charged them upon opening and soon after tried them. The phones picked up local radio with no trouble. I then tried Bluetooth with my phone and that too was super easy. It connected right away. I shut them down several times, and it "remembers" the Bluetooth connection. The kit comes with a charging cable and a line for connecting to a jack. Also included is a bag for everything. I'm pretty impressed with this headset.

Used these recently on a range trip... worked well blocking out sound from a .223 rifle and 9mm compact handgun.Bluetooth functions fine, although when no audio is playing there is a noticeable feedback or static sound which gets quite annoying. The feedback stays constant on all volume settings (doesn't get louder or quieter when adjusting the volume). The only way to not hear it is to constantly have audio playing or turn the volume ALL the way down.Radio works too although I don't anticipate using that function much if any.I primarily got these for hearing protection with the bluetooth function just being an added bonus.If you plan on using the Bluetooth function frequently, you may want to consider a higher quality product due to the feedback issue. It is possible I just got a defective unit, but I suspect the issue is related to the quality of the components.

At the time of review the price of this product was $17.99.For this price I honestly was not expecting much, I was surprised by what arrived. Its a comfortably snug headset with decent noise cancellation. Id say its around 85-90% cancellation of sound. And the radio/bluetooth functionality built in is really nice! The audio quality isn't amazing but its better than most headsets and headphones I've tried.This is a good addition to anyone's tool kit if they are around heavy machinery, doing yard work, shooting at the range, construction work, etc.

These headphones arrived with only a minimal charge, so I plugged it in using the supplied USB cable into one of my spare charging blocks. I thought it charged in a reasonable time to full power. I mainly got these for the noise reduction feature, since I'm frequently using mowers or leaf blowers around my property. I noticed a significant reduction in the noise while wearing them. I tried the AM/FM radio feature and the sound was good and preferable to that of the mower or leaf blower. They are comfortable to wear and I'm happy with them.

First of all, these are fantastic especially for the price point. The headphones sit really tight, so they block out a lot of noise without even turning them on. The sound quality is a lot nicer than I expected, especially for the price point. It was easy to connect to my Bluetooth. The only thing that I found difficult is that it isn't as loud as other high-end headphones. I am hard of hearing and can still hear well. If you have no hearing issues, it will be perfect for you.

Whether I’m mowing the lawn or working in the garage, they fit comfortably and keep unwanted noise out. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, and switching to the radio is super easy. Adjusting the fit is simple, making them comfortable to wear for long periods without discomfort.What I like is how I can listen to music or calls while reducing noise around me.
