This "Amdelne 6000k Led Batten Light" is pretty much perfect for my needs. It arrives boxed and inside the box is the light fixture itself, the plug cord, a second cord to connect to another light if need be, an instruction booklet as well as a bag of screws, rawl plugs and brackets.Mentioning fixings there - the light fixture is very light weight-wise and personally I have not needed to use the fixings so far at least (fingers crossed I'm not jinxing myself!). I had some double sided sticky pads and I have simply attached these to the light and then onto the wall. It is holding well so far. In addition to being light weight-wise the light also does kick out a decent amount of light too into a focused area. It would be unlikely to illuminate a whole room, but for in front of a desk or workbench then it would work fine I reckon. Here I have a cubby of sorts that I have a chest freezer in. I have stationed this light on the wall above the chest freezer and it is almost perfect for my needs.The light is very easy to use and set-up. Top marks there. My one criticism that I have alluded to with my saying "ALMOST perfect" a couple of times, is the fact that the on/off switch located on the cable is too close to the plug. I'm not super sure why they designed it like this but the switch is around 30-40cms away from the plug itself. Now, if your plug is high on your wall then this may be ideal. For me, and I would imagine several other people, my plug is next to the floor and as such I have to bend down and switch it on/off everytime I want to use the light.I guess it depends on you and your situation. For me it is a fairly significant flaw and the reason I am giving four stars instead of five, however I acknowledge that not everyone may be in the same boat as me. It's an otherwise handy and easy to use light. I just wish I didn't have to bend down to turn it on/off all the time!

Good quality light, received today and tested and working.The light itself looks well-made, and upon checking the circuit board inside/driver it looks to be decent quality. Better than some of the cheap lights I’ve had before where they have a really cheap Chinese circuit board in them that looks like it’s gonna pop after a week.Overall It gives a nice colour and good.Happy to recommend, good value for money

This LED light is only 40cm long but emits a very bright diffused white light.It comes with a detachable mains cable approximately 2.5 metres long with a standard UK 3 pin plug. There is a switch 40cm from the plug. There's also another cable included to connect it to other similar batten lamps if required. Of course either of the cables could be cut in order for the fitting to be hard-wired if desired.Two clips are included to mount the fitting onto a suitable surface. The clips are screwed onto the surface (screws and plugs are included) and the batten is simply clipped on.I've deducted one star from the rating because there are similar fittings available from Amazon at a lower price.

I've recently boarded my loft out and installed batten lights. I found this light to fit with my existing ones and I have a full row across the top. It is surprising how much light comes from these/this lights. Super easy to fit and use and I didn't need to be an electrician as these plug into my extension lead. I think the value of this is good considering all the wiring parts that come with them and for the convenience of they will suit the situation on hand, and at a later date I can use the light somewhere else and have the necessary wiring parts.

This is a nice, bright light, but unsafe unless you glue the connectors in place. See that photo with the hollow, glowing end pins? Those pins are LIVE. Although the blanking cover cap requires a screwdriver to pry it out, if the interconnecting cable is used to daisy chain to another light, this cable can be pulled out by hand without the use of a tool, exposing the live terminals.A similar light fitting has already been recalled under RAPEX alert A12/02483/23 because "live parts at the end of the lamp holder are accessible", I expect this light will follow suit for the same reason.

I installed them in my garage, one at each end. I wasn't sure if they would be long enough or bright enough, but they are perfect. They are bright enough to cope with any task. They are also incredibly light, so there is no problem hanging them or attaching them to the ceiling. The hooks are secure, but can be easily removed if needed. I will see how long they last. Very good value for money

This is such a handy plug in light. It is great for spaces like garages or cupboards where you might not have a light source or a very bright light source. I was surprised by how lightweight this light is, this makes it easy to place on a ceiling or wall etc. It does come with items to do just that. I also like that you can connect additional lights together to create a longer light system for larger spaces. It has a light switch on the wire so that makes it straightforward to turn on and off too.Overall this is such a useful light, it is easy to secure to a wall, ceiling etc. The light is pretty powerful and provides a good amount of light to most rooms. I’ve tried the light in my kitchen and it was ideal for lighting that space too.

I needed a bit of extra light in the corner of my conservatory where my work bench is.Initially I was going to install it on the frame of the conservatory roof using the screws provided, however I decided that this wasn't really the best place to give me the best lighting. So I then decided to fix it to the polycarbonate roof using picture hanging strips. I wasn't sure that it would hold but so far all is good. The light Emits a decent amount of light enabling me to use my work bench in the dark winter evenings. You can add more lights by Daisy chaining them together using the included cable. One end has a plug fitted to stop water ingress should they be used outside. It is also switched so that you can turn it on and off easily. I am more than happy with this light and would heartily recommend it.Hope this helps ...
