My wife has an area near the back door where she has all kinds of little dog-themed decorations displayed. The back is completely open, and there's no easel or other means to prop it up on a desk, except for the wide bottom, which it will sit on with ease.The printing is clear and decent, and elicits an "Awwwww...." from anyone who sees it. She's just a baby!Our beagle pup is about 2 now, so not quite a baby, but still has quite a bit of puppy in her. I don't like being called a "mom" to dogs--it's weird, but the idea that the human owner is right and the dog is a baby dog--well, that is just fitting of beagles. Beagles seem to keep some of their puppy-antics their whole lives.We have 2 beagles and so got this for our home. It's small enough that it can just sit on a shelf and be a fun piece of quality wooden decoration without being so large it is distracting from our other decorations. We like it. The wood is in excellent shape. Everything is spelled correctly and is not only easy to read, but is in a fun font. The art style is one we appreciate. The coloring on the beagle is spot on.

This is so cute and funny! My kids get so annoyed about the my GSD obsession so I got this to add fuel to the fire- and it worked. It's just so ridiculous it's great! The sign is very good quality- thick wood and sturdy. The print is clear and very easy to read. The colors are bright and eye catching. Highly recommend!
