Osmo 007 Wood - Oils Teak - Oil Clear 0.75L

I used Osmo Teak Oil on a wooden garden bench which had been a bit neglected.Cleaned the bench and lightly sanded, applied the Osmo Oil in a thin coat using a brush (as per instructions), first coat was absorbed by the wood quickly, then applied a second thin coat a bit later when first application was dry - bench now looks as good as new!A very good product!

This will be much easier to use than stain and from what I hear it does an excellent job so shall be busy probably end of next month as planning to use it on a garden bench and a new all wood swing seat.

The tin has a big dent at the bottom. Not used yet.

Having happily used Osmo products on intetior wood I purchased this a year ago to finish a new hardwood deck. The deck was a tropical hardwood and the edging teak. The requisite coats were applied and the end result looked stunning. A week later we had a party and the gazebo stayed up until September covering the whole deck which is south facing. Deck still looked good going into the autumn but sadly no longer. Nearly all the timber on the deck has silvered and and the finish has worn off both boards and edging. It looks dreadful. Very disappointed at such a quick degeneration especially as I did the work myself and have just had to buy another product to try and restore the deck the best i can.

To much shine prefer wook top oil, in fact i purchased osmo work top oil. much better finish suited the job so much better.
