Anvil USA 175-46 7.5" 440 Stainless Steel 46 Tooth Blender

Bought this item to replace the same type of shears I purchased years ago for dog grooming and liked very much. The blades on this new pair would not come together, they would stick about .5" apart so you couldn't use them. They would only come together every 4th or 5th time. When I put increased pressure to close the blades, the toothed edge blade broke off at the screw. I am an elderly woman so imagine my surprise and disappointment. Unfortunately I only groom my dogs every 6 weeks and didn't try these out until now assuming they would be just like my old pair. My fault I missed the return window or I would have returned them as they are no good.

Cheap, you get what you pay for...
