Six Months In and I Still Love this Case
I've had this case for about six months now and I really like it. It is sturdy, nicely appointed, and light. I've had lots of comments about it and many questions as to where I got it. The value here is the best part. To have a case this nice for under $300 is wonderful. It even fits my gigantic contraption of a shoulder rest. I also love that the shoulder strap is nice and long to make for easy carrying.I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for an eye-catching design with good protection for his or her instrument.

Super cool
I bought this case for my daughter. She is a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, and this case absolutely looks like it came from Baker Street. It is a unique case, for a unique personality! Everything seems to fit well inside of it; aside from her music folder, which also didn't fit in her plastic case. The violin, which I paid a lot of money for, is safe and protected, and she was super stoked about how soft it was inside, it's aesthetic appeal, and the fact it is from "Baker Street".

Almost great
The case has been great to use, though, like one of the other reviewers mentioned, the violin neck rests on a pad, elevating a bit too high. The exterior was of a different kind than advertised, while the interior was correct. Lastly, the exterior fabric was attached slightly askew, as was the emblem, so everything on the outside is off center and it doesn't close smoothly. All in all, it's still far better than a beginner's case but it certainly lacks the attention to detail real craftsmanship ought to have.

The case lock does not work
For such price violin case, the lock just does not work properly. When you close the case, the lock is supposed to be locked. However, the case can be opened without push both sides buttons on the lock. It may drop the violin when you think the case is closed and locked.

Works great with some minor issues
The product looks elegant. It fits my violin snugly leaving no space for the violin to move, which is good. It's heavy than the case that I got with the violin, but that's a crappy one. My violin teacher said this one is pretty light. There are many compartments to store little stuff like rosin, mute, fabric, even metronome and my shoulder rest can fit in it, so now I can keep everything about violin together. Overall quality is pleasing, but there are some minor imperfections that make me take a star off.- The tip-end of the bow holder has a small gap that sometimes a few hairs can fall in. If you're not careful enough when pulling the bow out, you will break those hairs. I noticed this after losing a few hairs and having problem taking the bow out. After that, with a little extra check each time if there is any hair in the gap, the problem solved.- The biggest compartment is very tight for shoulder rest. Actually, I spent a while to figure out the way to put my shoulder rest in. It might not be designed for shoulder rest, but it would be more convenient if this could be a little bigger. Also, the front zipper pocket that I guess made for music sheets fit the sheet a little too snugly. (Suzuki books, they are larger than letter size paper, so this complaint may not valid)- I don't see much of the change in hygrometer. It seems to tell that it's too dry most of the time, even in the very humid day that I sweat for just walking in my room.In conclusion, I am happy with its look, sturdiness, and weight. Those minor issues are not serious and can be eliminate with a little extra carefulness.

Worth every penny.
I love this case! It comes with everything you will need, and is so aesthetically appealing, that my colleagues thought I had purchased an expensive case in the $1,000+ range. I combined this case a weather-proof case from Cushy, and it feels like I'm carrying a light tank on my back. I've fallen on my back at a gig, and when I opened the Baker Street case, there wasn't any damage to anything! Only damage to my right arm, haha.

Nicest case I own
Gorgeous case! I was going to order another Bobelock 1051 case in another color, until I saw this one. I was prepared to return it thinking it couldn't be as nice as it looks in the photos. It's even nicer in person, very good quality and aesthetically pleasing. The suede interior and leather accents look and feel like the real thing. First case I've ever seen with an accurate thermometer and hygrometer. Well done Baker Street...

Great case to protect your violin. Looks very much like the real thing.
Excellent buy. I bought two, one for myself and one for my sister. Very nicely made case. A bit loose if violin is a smaller size.
