Very Good Product
So, my ragdoll cat has been puking up hairballs off and on over the last few months. Over time, it became more frequent and now has become a daily occurrence. And of course, since all cats seem to manage to hold in their pukes until they can reach the carpet, they also leave those horrible puke stains that, for the life of me, can't get out of the carpet. I finally found this Cat Lax 2 and hoped for the best. The package was delivered on a Sunday, which was awesome. I love when our deliveries are not delayed by the weekend. I gave my cat the recommended dosage first by putting some on my finder and letting him smell it. He wouldn't go for it. The instructions say that if your cat won't take it, to put some on their paw so they can lick it off. I tried that but it looked like he was going to take off and leave tracks all over the house. So I had to wipe it off his paw and instead I just put some directly in the back of his mouth. The first day, he puked. I gave it to him again the next day...he puked. BUT, by the third day, he stopped puking. I gave him a dose daily for the first 5 days. After that, I've been giving it to him every couple of days. It's been a couple of weeks now and he hasn't coughed up any hairballs! He's not thrilled with the taste of it, meaning he won't take it on his own, but it isn't hard for me to give it to him and only takes a second. All in all, I'm very happy with this product and recommend it if your cat is having problems with hairballs. Here is a picture of my cat.

Kitten needed help and this did the job!
Got for a little white kitten I rescued, she had digestive issues that cause constipation and every other thing I tried either did nothing or did very little, I was beginning to worry so I brought her back to the Vet and they gave her an enema and it did work but she HATED IT! It was so hard to watch and hear but it did work but only for the next few days before she couldn't us the bathroom again I new she would probably have to go back and get an enema again but I didn't want to put her through that again if I didn't have to so I talked to my vet and they told me to try this and if this doesn't work within 24/48 hours to come back in, so I got this and... IT WORKED! like some of the other reviews on here she didn't want to eat it on her own but instead of putting it on her paw to lick I just put a VERY small amount on my finger and put it on her gums, she ate it and soon she was using the bathroom. I only have to give it to her 2 other time the next following week and now over a month or so later she's doing PERFECT! she doesn't need anything for constipation anymore she's a happy healthy kitten now and Loves to play with her toys and New brother. The only thing is now I have a basicly Full tub of this stuff with no need for it anymore but I guess I have it if I ever need it again.

Works Well
Palatable and works well for hairballs in cats. Only one of my 3 cats likes it though

Best hairball control gel I have found
This product was suggested by my vet after several months of frustration dealing with hairballs and constipation with my long-haired cat. He refuses to let us brush him. On the suggestion of the vet tech, we started giving it to him through a medication syringe. It is thin enough to go through a syringe, but not a liquid. Putting it on his paw and shutting him on a inside back porch so he didn't track it through the house didn't work. He simply "flung it" onto the walls. However my short-haired cat immediately licks it off her paws, so obviously likes the taste. It takes 1 to hold the male cat and a 2nd to squirt the gel, but it works well.

Keeping kitty regular
I have a senior cat. He's normally very regular. So when he didn't poop in the box for over a day, I got concerned. The reviews from other pet owners really helped. I ordered it and pay a little extra for same day delivery. It was very much worth it. I would say it started working for him after about half a day. This is after only one dose. I squeezed about an inch worth onto a plate; then I use my finger to smear it on the top of his mouth. I let him smell it first and he didn't back away. So I cannot attest to if it actually tastes good, but it definitely didn't taste bad. I've seen his reactions on other stuff that he didn't like the taste of. I highly recommend it both for the value and for the effectiveness of the product.

It works!
This stuff is actually really awesome. It's meant for hairballs, but it also helps to coat the cats intestines so that hairballs and poops are easier to pass (it's not a laxative, per se, but it helps with that). My kitty gets hairballs and occasionally irregular. She also throws up hairballs. The first day I had to smear this on her paw as she wasn't interested in eating it from the tube or my finger. It's a thicker paste so less of it got on stuff and she probably licked at least half. Had a solid poop in the morning. I do it every other day in order to see how much she needs. I gave it to her today and she actually ate it from the tube, so it must taste good. Which is incredible because out of all my cats, they've never eaten any supplement straight from the tube. It does work.

My girls didn’t like it
I have two cats, and one is a little more picky than the other. She didn’t like this at all… would have none of it. The other seemed to like it. It’s pretty thick. I (and my girls) prefer the TOMLYN Laxatone Tuna-Flavored Hairball gel. Both cats seem to like it, and it’s not quite as thick, so it’s easier to manage out of the tube.

Best Formula, Cats Love It
My medium haired cat would vomit up huge hairballs very frequently. At the time I didnt even know products like these existed. The first product I got was from Walmart, it was a very cheap brand and although it had similar ingredients, the instructions were to give them 1-2 tablespoons. That just seems excessive to give to a cat, especially if theyre stubborn with what they eat. It would do its job but it was a pain to feed her those giant blobs of gel each time. My vet mentioned Cat Lax, and I immediately looked it up on amazon. It’s amazing. I only need a little bit on my finger and she loves the taste. Very reasonably priced and it works really well. Don’t remember the last time I’ve seen her gag or vomit.
