Dragon Ball Z Goku Super Saiyan Anime Spicy Ramen Seasoning, Authentic Japanese Spice Flavors 5.2oz (Pack of 2)

I am fairly accustomed to adding spice to my dishes in the way other people add salt to theirs. My go to is usually to sprinkle a little bit of cayenne pepper. And while this brings the heat, it can be sometimes too much and it doesn’t really bring, any flavor with it. Enter this Goku Ramen seasoning. It works on so many levels to spice up my food, whatever it may be. It’s great with soups, but it’s also good. Just sprinkled on an open sandwich. It seems to adjust the right amount of spiciness and a little bit of extra flavor with it too. The shaker is actually bigger than your average one and a little bit seems to go along way.

The spice mix in this ramen season has a good mix of the basics, like onion, garlic, pepper, etc. Where it shines is in the heat. It's not a front-end heat, but one that will linger afterwards. One of the Amazon listing photos shows a child eating ramen. I do not recommend this seasoning for children because of its spiciness.After experimenting with the seasoning, we found that it's best as a complimentary add-in. If you make ramen with non-spicy flavor packets included, then half the spice packet and 1/4 tablespoon of the Dragon Ball Z spice makes a good combination. Using a full packet of seasoning will make the ramen too salty. The Dragon Ball Z spices lack a hearty flavor like chicken or beef, so another way I've tried that is very good is to boil the ramen in a low-salt chicken or beef broth, then add 1/2 tablespoon.Overall, good heat, nice flavor, but for me, relegated to an add-in seasoning.

My wife loves ramen soup, and we have been moving from those instant ones to more home-made. We picked this one because she likes spicy and the dragon ball theme was fun. It is not super spicy, but my wife loves hot food and what she considers lightly spicy may be very spicy for others. She liked it though and the presentation with super Saiyan is nice. It tastes and looks fresh and the ingredients look natural.

I'll admit I got this for the gimmick of DBZ. But this is a really good seasoning, not just for ramen. In fact, I never used this with ramen. I used it as seasoning for baked chicken and for seasoning on burgers, and even a topper for popcorn. Perfect for all three. It has a small spice kick, not overpowering at all, definitely not Super Saiyan level, but very enjoyable!

Pow! There's nothing subtle about this authentic Japanese (but "Made in the USA") blend of ramen spices. It reminds me a little bit of Japanese 7 spice; if you've had the original type made in Japan, it's that sort of heat. But it's not ALL heat. There's other flavors going on here too - good stuff. It also adds a nice splash of color to boring old ramen noodles, too. I really like this. And you get a mega big bottle of it. Since I tend to use a rather frugal amount this large jar will last me a really long time. Good stuff and you don't have to be a Dragonball Z fan to enjoy this exciting flavor. Fun, good...recommended!

I am always looking for new flavors for ramen and this Dragon Ball Z themed seasoning was an interesting find. The bottle is a decent size and I enjoyed the flavoring overall. I found it to be more of a medium level of spice for me.

Some of the best ramen seasoning I have ever had, It has a nice spicy kick to it, but it's so flavorful. I'm definitely going to get more of this in the future
