Hoodman 2 Foot Diameter Launch Pad

Overall I am finding the launch pad very useful for my Mavic Air. The field I usually fly in is full of ant hills and the county misses a mow now and then leaving patches of grass a little high. The only thing I dislike is finding it just a little odd to pack. It's a little too large to fit in my bag and a little too awkward to clip on. That said, I make it work and don't fly without it.

I have a Mavic Mini so low clearance on the rear propellers. The outside rim is a metal cable and it hit the rear propellers. Also had interference with the GPS compass as the metal cable effected it. If you have a drone with higher clearance and more rfid protection this would be a great landing pad.

I was debating if this size would fit my EVO 2 and it is perfect. Folds really small and does not catch the wind. If is too windy for this pad, then I will not fly...

The weights keep this thing down even in the windy weather I live in. Should have probably bought one size up though for my drone.

Although bigger is usually better, this size works well with the Mavic 2. I love the weighted ring that keeps it on the ground even in the wind. And no messing with stakes.

perfect size for my Typhoon Q500, heavy duty material and the weight prevents the pad from moving during take off and landing, just need to practice folding it

I like because is heavy duty construction and excellent tool for any pilot with drones
