I ordered two area rugs and the first was so thin and disappointing. This one came a day later and I wasn’t holding out much hope.However, the carpet is so well made and an expensive looking thickness. I love that it does have that cheap looking binding around the outside.So glad I got this rug!

I was looking for a beautiful but not pricey wool rug for my side of the bed, pale in color, almost white, to brighten the space as our carpet is dark brown and we cannot replace it since we are renters. I read all the reviews and got an ivory 4 x 6 and love everything about it! It is thick, the texture is pleasant to look at, it feels soft and luxurious under bare feet, the color has a pale yellow tinge which is warmer than on photos. It came rolled up but laid flat by the following day, there was no unpleasant smell so I didn’t have to air it out. It was almost perfect, however there were a few stains and a spot seemed to be missing some thread. I followed the recommendation and vacuumed it thoroughly on both sides. Although a little disappointed I decided to keep it to avoid the hassle of returning it and not quite sure I would get a perfect one as several reviews mentioned stains. Fortunately, I was able to hide that side under the bed and the bed cover hangs nicely over it and it does look very nice laying there. It makes me smile every time I step into my bedroom. You might get lucky and get a perfect rug which would be a good deal for the money!

I received this rug today. Rug has what looks like soot stains and dark threads. I contacted Amazon and asked for a discount because I didn’t feel like packing it up to return it. They provided a small discount. When I unfurled the rug I saw there were even more stains. I am disappointed. I thought I could clean the stains but it’s not happening. When I scrolled down and read previous reviews, I realized this is an ongoing problem probably caused by the manufacturing process. Steer clear! Shame on Safavieh and Amazon for continuing to sell this.

The rugs are simply gorgeous! Probably not the best rug for a home with kids or dogs. The texture is deep and amazing. Great quality. May be hard to get the wrinkles out at corners. Leave ice cubes on corners over night. No more bent corners. Enjoy!

The rug does look pretty, although very crinkled from shipping. It is not at all soft, but I did expect that thanks to previous reviews. The color is the dusty blue that I was seeking.Unfortunately, it stinks... badly. It has been in my garage for over a week. The first day, it permeated the entire garage with a chemical stench. Every day I have been misting it with lysol, hoping that I can keep it, but it has been over a week and the smell is only slightly better.I am actually afraid to put it in my bedroom, as I don't want to be breathing in whatever is so potent that it still has a death grip on the fibers.FWIW, I am NOT "chemically sensitive" or overly fussy about scent... thanks to a deviated septum I only have 50% sniff capacity, so this is definitely a rug issue.
