Unfortunately, I sent it back because I bought a new garage door bottom seal instead. Hope I don’t have to buy it again.

My shed was flooding all the time by water running down a hill. Not only was it getting wet, but it was carrying in a fine mud that was a pain to get rid of. I installed this threshold, and that eliminated 99% of the problem. Water was literally pooled an inch deep outside the door, but only a few drops got in, and that was probably due to the door seal, not the threshold. But essentially problem solved. It worked so well that i bought one for my garage, too. Dry again.This is a well-designed and made product; it even comes with foam blocks that are used to seal the space between the door track and the wall. (Without that, water would leak around.) I bought the threshold that is 1-1/4" high. I did not know it came in other heights until I got mine and saw the side of the box, which showed the other heights. The point is, if you have a serious problem, you might want to consider the higher versions. They get pricey, but I doubt whether there is a better product on the market.

Really good product except for cost. Minimum 4x costs of comparable products. But like most things on Amazon as a customer you try to purchase not the cheap one but the next one up in cost because you will just be replacing it later with the more expensive one. Albeit this is the most expensive.

We bought the 1-1/4” product because water kept getting into the garage from one corner of our double-wide garage door. We laid it out flat the day before to ensure it would be easy to work with and not curl on us during install since the adhesive is a commercial adhesive with quick adhesion. Instructions are great; text and pictures. The product cuts/trims pretty easily; we used heavy duty scissors. Recommend cutting the adhesive tip a little bit larger than recommended 1/2”; there’s a lot of pressure on the caulk gun trigger with that small of an opening. Still, highly recommend this product. It was a little bit pricey, but now having received the product and see the quality and results, it was well worth it. We have also received compliments and inquiries by several neighbors! No more water coming in and an unexpected bonus is no more leaves, grass or dirt either!

I have only laid it out so far but I love it. My garage door opening is 20 ft. The left side is perfectly level but the right side has a 1 1/2 inch slope. Nothing I could find would fill the gap until this product. Was able to use the 1 1/4 inch and it works perfect even without using the adhesive because it is so heavy duty. I will be gluing down but wanted shout out how happy I am with this seal. First photo shows how heavy duty and shape. 2nd photo shows gap and 3rd photo shows the gap completely filled with this excellent seal! This seal has worked perfectly. Two hard blowing rains since I glued it down. No leakage at all. Great product.

Heavy and well made. This product stopped the rain from blowing under the door, right past the standard door seal. It costs a little more but is worth it.

Good product, instructions could be improved

When I installed it looked like it would work perfectly ... and it did work for the first four months after installation. But in southern California you only need it for the December thru April timeframe and after that it is very dry. Driving over the threshold everyday with two cars was hard on the threshold: the "bump" began to separate from the base and in the fall, when the rains returned, the threshold leaked and water again flowed into the garage when the rains returned. Great idea: it worked well initially. But the weight and daily force of the cars driving over the threshold rubber caused the threshold to disintegrate and he "bump" to separate from the base. I will not buy it again. Too bad: it was a sound design and it worked initially. It's just not durable enough for two sedans driving over it daily.

Needed to stop water mice and debri from getting under garage door. Needed 2.5cm height which was differcult to source. Thought this was good value as the price has risen sharply since my purchase. Saying that it is sturdy very strong and thick and stuck done solid with included adhesive. Left few days before driving over with car so far no movement from the seal regardless of the height

Rempli bien sa fonction d'étanchéité. Mis sur le seuil de ma porte de garage. Colle efficace.Bande un peu dur à la découpe mais rien d'insurmontable. Avant de fixer, laisser la bande bien reprendre sa forme. Je recommande.Soin porté à l'emballage de la part du vendeur.
