$1.64 at Walmart as of 2022 They ship to you. Have Walmart ship to you $24+ dollars for 4 cans is pretty absurd.

Yes, you will need to spray a heavy layer, shape your fabric, then allow it to dry.

Q: Can this be used to stiffen the brim of my hat??

Yes, you will need to spray each side heavily. Place the hat in a position to dry the way you want it to be shaped. I would recommend that you begin with a dry hat. Happy stiffening!

Q: Can it be sprayed on paper

If you spray far enough to not soak and damage the paper, I think you can. We have not done this before but I'm sure it's possible
