Stainless Steel Worktop Saver (800 x 600 Square Fold)

Very very disappointed with this product. It is advertised and shown as a chopping board. I have not used it for this. The reason being I noticed that just putting a plate or a jug would scratch the surface. . Having been so careful it is really not fit for purpose. It is covered in multiple scratches and looks awful. It appears placing anything on it scratches it, a knife has been no where near it. It has literally been used to plate up the dinner, and no I didn’t drag the plates or anything else across the surface. On top of that very hard to wipe clean , all products just leave it smeared. A very expensive mistake.

Really nice quality with no sharp edges. Does a great job at protecting the worktop and gives me a really easy to clean, sanitary work surface for preparing meals.Only drawback is the little anti slip stoppers that come with it. They’re REALLY difficult to peel off without destroying them and they only last about a week before they’re compressed flat and rendered unusable.

I received my worktop saver quickly and well packed.It comes with little sticky pads to avoid scratching the surface it will sit on, which is great. Had an issue with circular marks on the sheet, but Avonstar helped me get rid of them easily. Great customer service!!Bought to protect my wooden surfaces, now I can bake away knowing the area will be easy to clean. Glad I ordered!!

The only issue that we have had is that the front lip is a little too deep. Our worksurface is 20mm thick - this is bigger, and means that if you open the drawers beneath the worksurface, they foul on the lip. I've ordered some bigger rubber feet for the underside which hopefully will raise it enough to avoid this...Other than that - it looks good. Well finished, and edges nicely smoothed. There is a good chance we shall order a second...

Preparing food is much nicer on this worktop than on the cheapish kitchen one.
