FCSFins - FCS II SUP Glass Flex Touring Fin - ...

Despite some complains about not receiving the product as pictured, the screwless design works perfectly for my SUP. Insert in the box slot, give it a push down hard, and it stays solid. The snap on design saves eliminate fussing around with the screw which I hate. The material seems to be high quality plastic. For the price half of similar product using fiberglass and resin, it's a good value if you're just casually going in the water with your board.

This is a great product!! I have AZ US fin box and this fit snugly in the slot with no wobble or slipping out! My board is more stable and tracks STRAIGHT!!!! NO MORE SCREWS!!!!

I chose this product over competing products because the photo shows a fin with a screw at the leading edge (and a screw which would require a hex key at that, rather than those tool-less screws that have become common now). I deliberately purchased this type of fin because I've had problems with the newer screw-less designs staying in the board, and with the tool-less screws with their oversized heads staying tightened down properly, with heavy usage. Imagine my surprise when I opened this to find a completely different fin design than what I wanted and expected. Seller is advertising one product and sending buyers a different product.

This is more a review of the add than the actual fin. The fin is the normal screw less FCS Ii 9 inch version. As I have lost one of these snap model fins earlier (dropped the SUP from 4 feet onto the water and the fin must have snapped out and later fell off the SUP when I were out in deep water). This fin is otherwise great as it's easy to mount and remove when required. But since the incident, I don't fully trust the snap version. Now, what's the problem? I was looking for the old traditional model with a screw and as the picture of the add showed the model with the screw I bought it believing it would be just that. Instead I got the snap version and I'm now very careful when putting the SUP in the water...

Great fin. I have two and they are so easy to use and provide great stability and performance. Great option if you need to transport or store your board(s) and a fin would be in the way. Also you aren't going to lose one of the little screws used by other fins. Highly recommend.
