Our Golden Doodle is due her op shortly and we wanted to be prepared for her recovery. Our vet will give you cone for free but you'd have to buy the recovery suit at a more expensive cost.This one seems to be ok. The material is soft and relatively easy to get on her once you've figured out which way up it goes. We're hoping that it will at least provide some protection against her getting to any stitches.Its not just a recovery suit but also suited for the autumn months when there's just a nip in the air.Our Golden Doodle is virtually fully grown and we ordered the XXL and its a good fit for her.

A very easy to wear, comfortable on dogs, absorbant jumper. It is designed to stop licking at post op wounds... spay, neuter, C sections, and any other ops on torso.I find it also extremely useful after giving my pomeranians a bath. A thorough towel dry and on goes the vest. Their running around, rolling, sliding on flooring etc keeps them from getting dusty, mucky again before dry.When one has a litter of puppy(ies), after fully weaned, she will Blow her coat... loose most of hair. A post pregnancy hormone thing. Being so small, with less hair, they can feel more colder than usual. So doubles up as a nice little jumper for the weeks until hair has grown again.Also suitable for males with a slight adjustment for his higher up bits.

Ban those cones of shame! These suits are so much better, soft, thin, quite slinky and moves nicely. Not too hot for those not used to clothes. The poppers can be a bit fiddly especially with arthritic hands, but you can get there. I haven't used the cut outs.I got a L for my large male whippet at 17kg and nearly 23" along the back.
