Light is amazing for the price. Everything works perfectly. There is a fan that keeps the product cool but if this is used as a house party or DJ light with fair amount of volume and not for someone using it for pillow talk you will never hear the fan! I received the light on a Friday and used it at an event for four hours straight and it never got warm and performed perfectly the whole time.

Purchased this light, and it provided several great options for lighting our haunted house. If there were not manufacturing/assembly issue...the product would have been great.A couple of the lighting option did not work as expected hence I returned the product. First, the white LED/Gobo did not work. Second, the Gobo rotating lens was not properly mounted and did not rotate properly.

I purchase a lot of off-brand lighting equipment and while most of it is adequate (or better) for the price paid, this item is by far the worst product I've come across, and isn't worth one tenth the price it's listed at. Furthermore, it is downright dangerous and I wouldn't recommend it for any use.First, the unit is crudely enclosed in a flimsy piece of bent sheet metal with unfinished and fairly sharp metal edges. Second, the power and control connectors and the display and buttons are not attached to the box well and wiggle and bend if you attempt to connect the AC plug or DMX cables, I'm certain they'd break after only a few uses.Finally, the power transformer inside the unit is very poorly assembled, to the point where electronic components had come off and were rattling loosely around in the case. When plugged in, this exposed live dangerous AC current that easily could have shorted to the loose parts, or worse the metal case causing electrical shock.Under no circumstances should you use this product. If you're looking for a compact all-in-one party light, try the Chauvet DJ Swarm: https://amzn.to/2D9T1k3 . It's a bit more expensive but is safe, will last years, and is a better lighting effect to boot.

Whether you're a full-blown professional DJ who does this full-time for a living or it's just a hobby. This is a very powerful dance light for only a hundred bucks. It probably won't do you too well in a large venue. But once again I'm pretty damn impressed with it

Love this light! We use on 12ft ceilings and it’s clearly seen! Colors are bright and it has great colors. My clients have all ask where I got it!

What's with the nighttime before we go to bed review? At 60 db (measured) the fan on this thing sounds as loud as a Roomba. Definitely not the chill out machine. Think low power hand dryer. You can hear it over the music. You can tell it's poorly made. The instructions are obtuse. The projections don't look anything like what you see on the product page. You don't get multiple gobo images together, as pictured. You get one at a time. This is one of those situations where you're wondering where all these short, 'positive' 5 star reviews came from... all mysteriously submitted within 10 days of each other [Hah! that should have been a tip off]. Same IP address probably. What a scam. On its way back. You can do a lot better at half or a third of the price.
