The frame is metal.This mirror will last for a long time and the price was reasonable! It would look great in a dining room or bedroom. It’s probably not the right size to go over a bathroom vanity.If I had one concern it would be that the mirror is pretty heavy. But I think that is resulting from the quality of the materials.I’m excited about this purchase!

I am really happy with this mirror! It looks great and seems really sturdy. I would say based on quality and size, it is definitely worth the money. I don't know what I will do with the smaller mirror just yet, but it is a nice addition for a vanity/counter/desk.

I'm reviewing this mirror before I've hung it up because it might take me awhile to figure out how I'm going to get it on my wall. I don't really think the little drywall anchors they supplied are going to be strong enough to hold this up. At the very least, I'm going to do a little research before I try them out. Other than that, the mirror is very pretty and ornate. The surface of the frame is a little rough but I think that is better than being perfectly smooth because it looks more organic and old. The small frame that comes with it is a nice touch and I've already put that one on a bookcase nearby. Having hung several mirrors, bother antique and modern, recently I was really surprised at how heavy this frame is and I wanted to let everyone know that in my review. I think it is both a good and a bad thing (but mostly good). This is a quality piece that looks older than it's years. Just make sure to secure it in such a way that it doesn't pull your drywall down!
