Artisan Yarns Hand Dyed Alpaca Silk Yarn, Hand Painted African Violet, Lace Weight, 100 Grams, 875 Yards, 70/30 Baby Alpaca/Mulberry Silk

This yarn is really beautiful and the color was just as pictured. It is very soft and silky and works up wonderfully (crochet). It is definitely pricey, but to me it is worth every penny because the end result will be fantastic. You normally only get a 50 gram hank in lace weight yarn but this one is twice that amount. The package arrived ahead of schedule, so I am pleased with the vendor. It is much silkier in feel than other alpaca blends I have used, so I have decided the end result is worth the price for a few special people in my life and I just placed an order for more of this yarn in another gorgeous color.
