This is a great system. I have done it all: acrylics (in another life and century!), MK, and salon gels. This brand offers GREAT coverage and longevity. If you want a 2-week manicure, go to a solon and sit under the little light. If you want a less-expensive and MUCH more convenient option, try this. I purchased 3 colors and the top coat and have been happy with all. The flat brush makes SO much sense if you use it right (the streaks previously referred to result if you do not). I apply 2 or 3 coats plus the top coat and the result is a strong, consistent, shiny finish. I live 30 miles from the nearest salon, plus am tired of ragged, thin, weak nails. I can use this line at home, Sunday afternoon, and have a beautiful and thick manicure that looks great all week. If you have the time, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

I'm used to thicker gel polishes, but this one took many coats to be solid, which means it took longer to apply than a typical gel polish. The color is really purple and pretty though.

Due to work rules I don’t get manicures often. This polish mimics acrylic nails from a salon but regular remover works easy to remove and they don’t chip for 2 weeks

I was hoping for a deep red, but it is basically a black. I don't hate black, just not what I was after.

I have tried this multiple times and I've had the same results. This last time I painted my nails, I put on about 4 coats and still did not get good coverage. The polish chips and peels. I like the top coat (not this item) but the color is just not what I am used to from CND. I will stick to the shellac. If I were going to repaint my nails every 3-4 days, I suppose this would hold up ok, but who has time for that?

This is the second Vinylux colour that I've tried, I love them! Both of the colours were a slightly different colour than they appeared in the picture which I would say is the only downfall, but still worth 5 stars! Tango passion is slightly darker and has a shimmer which I personally cannot see in the photo, but still a beautiful colour! The last application of the previous colour lasted 5 days on me, but my hands work hard as I'm constantly washing up, cleaning, doing up zips and poppers for my children etc! I could have gotten away with another day, but I wanted to try this new colour and I had a little bit of tip wear/slight cracking to the top coat, but only I would have noticed that probably! Goes on so smoothly, and dries quickly, I'm sat here painting while my baby is asleep so hopefully she will sleep a full hour! :D

Vinylux is brilliant! Goes on easily, dries quickly and lasts about a fortnight. And it doesn't chip! Also makes your nails very strong. As good as a gel manicure any day, so worth what initially seems an expensive pricetag for varnish and topcoats. I wont be paying out for nailbar manicures any more, this is a great product.
