I recently purchased this chainsaw mill, and it has exceeded all my expectations! The setup was fairly easy, even for someone like me who's new to milling lumber. The build quality is solid, with durable materials that feel like they can stand up to years of use.I used it with my standard chainsaw and was amazed at how smoothly it worked. The cutting is precise, and I was able to cut large, straight boards without much effort. The adjustments for thickness are straightforward and accurate, allowing me to create custom cuts that are perfect for my projects.The mill is surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver, even on larger logs. It does require some muscle to handle, but that's expected for something that works with chainsaws. Not what I expected.

A very versatile Alaskan style chainsaw mill. The FarmMac advanced 36” sawmill I great for cutting live edge slabs or true dimensional lumber. A straight forward assembly process and quality materials and construction. These are an excellent choice for anyone wanting to mill their own lumber on a budget.Shown in pictures with the NeoTec NH8120 a true powerhouse for milling the biggest Timbers. The great thing about these advanced mills is that you can purchase multiple and assemble together for any size lumber you would like to cut. The single unit will mill up to about 33” but 2 units assembled together will extend that cutting width up to 68”. This is an excellent value for the price and I highly recommend them.

Wasn't too hard to assemble if your good with tools. Fits my 24 inch bar nicely and I have no doubts that it will make good lumber

I was talking about building a deck with my neighbor because I was impressed with his, and he told me he had cut all his own lumber to save money. He owns a large area of timber land close by and said he cut his own and showed me his setup. I had a chainsaw already for maintaining our property but never thought of milling my own boards. I ordered this to try, as it is similar to the one he showed me, and went out to his land to try and practice. The mill attached to my chainsaw with no problems and I cut down a decent size oak to start and practiced with a sample 4x1. It took me a couple tries to get it down properly but I actually managed to come away with stack of usable planks, and will be going to be going back and getting more. The mill worked good for me, was able to size and tighten with no problems and it stayed firmly on my saw the whole time. I will be using it a lot more to get all the wood I need and so far it looks like this will do everything I need.
