Great product. My gastroenterologist recommended this and I noticed results by day 2.

Hard to review supplements. I've been using this Akkermansia supplement for a few weeks after switching from another brand. Do not notice any specific improvements but certainly nothing negative or worse than my previous supplement. Thus, I feel this is working fine for me.

I have tried other Akkermansia and is interesting to see such large range of the amount like this that has 300 Billion AFU to others that only has 100 Million AFU. So, I'm not really sure how much is really enough. As for these, I didn't have any issues with taking these and versus other similar probiotics. My biggest concern is the inconsistency with the capsules as they are not all filled the same. Most are full but you can see others that aren't. I find that this type of inconsistency can be a significant red flag as it can create a lack of trust with a supplement. For me, there are just too many options out there right now so won't really continue taking these.

I took it for a week or two and haven't had any negative side effects from it.When I looked it up it says that people with "inflamatory bowel disease" or a compromised gut barrier shouldn't take it.On Wikipedia it says that it may be helpful against diabetes. It is supposed to help strengthen the gut barrier, preventing the penetration of harmful bacteria and toxins, according to Google.

I am reviewing Healthfare store akkermansia capsules, 90 count, which at the time of this review was $19.99. Reviewing supplements here is always an exercise in walking a fine line between saying how it seems to be helping me, without making claims that will get the review kicked back. Here's my take on this product: I have noticed zero negative side effects since starting this product. I have noticed an apparent improvement in how my gut feels; like I've been more consistent with fewer problems. I also notice I have less of an appetite. Price seems to be better than most, though it's really tough for an average consumer to truly *know* if you're getting the full strength in products.

When first starting out, this will mess with your gut a little bit. Its not bad--gentle. Just be ready for changes as you adjust to the biotics. Only one small capsule per day. Easy to swallow. No issues with it. I find its an effective probiotic.I would recommend it.
