This charger felt okay and, at first glace, looked good but to be honest, I'm really annoyed I wasted so much money on this charger. It started to loose connectivity quickly and it didn't take long before it was absolutely useless. Do not waste your money.I never buy anything with reviews under 4 stars and, as you can see from it's current rating, that's no longer the case with this purchase. Either, the quality of this product has plummeted/ the initial reviewers were fake/ the initial reviewers didn't change their ratings when their charger inevitably broke!

Purchased this as my original Apple charger had broken and wanted to avoid paying their prices. However, I wish I had just gone straight to the Apple shop for a replacement. This Amazon alternative broke within 2 months of careful usage, disgusting! Do not even bother trying this product, just go straight to the Apple shop instead.

This is very similar to the original MacBook air power supply. i've bought two other replacements over the past 18 months, and neither are as good as this one - they're both dead. This one has a nice long power lead, just like the original and feels almost perfect. Very happy with this product, and i suspect i wont have to buy another one. Don't bother with the ones the plug that corrects directly to the square power, they're not as reliable.

My girlfriend was in need of a new charger after her Apple one broke and we bought this given that the reviews were positive. It worked fine for the first couple weeks, until it MELTED. It overheated to such a degree that it melted. I can't say that enough. IT. MELTED!I would not recommend this product. I think you're better off getting the official one from Apple. It might break but it won't melt!

Did not work, returned

The charger did not work for my mac and did not respond and did not charge (no light appeared at all). Disappointing as I trusted the other reviews but had no luck - once I forked out for the official mac charger that then worked fine so was not an issue with my computer.

The charger is really hot really quickly and the light is faultyI had it for less than 3 months and it's been working on and off.This product is dangerous and a waste of money, the seller should be ashamed.

Adaptor seems well enough made, however the cable from the adapter to the t_tip is less substantial than the original Apple adaptor. 3 days outside the warranty the cable has a clear fault where it connects to the T-Tip connector. Provided the cable is angled a certain way it works, move it a millimetre it fails. Not much use for a laptop, very disappointing.
