Everything about this was perfect except the brace that u clamp on the door. I ended up throwing out the clamp because there is no way to use it again. I can’t attach it to my door because I will probably kill myself(I’m a klutz). I ended up attaching it to the door frame. I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to attach to the door frame

Perfect for my needs
Easy set up for a senior. Heavy duty metal frame. Includes padding for protection of your door from damage. Matched my door perfectly. I did purchase a ring face plate in black to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Like I didn’t have to drill into stucco and less likely will be stolen

Not that secure
A flat head screwdriver can remove the security torx screw. it is a good door mount if you aren't too concerned with some one stealing your ring camera.

Genius invention for us apartment dwellers…
I bought the Ring doorbell, and got the adhesive mounting kit with it so I could ‘stick’ it to the apartment door —- it lasted 5 days in Florida heat before crashing to the ground. THEN I discovered this product - game changer! Easy to install, and I haven’t had any issues with the Ring doorbell coming loose, or shaking, or anything —- this is the solution that allows us renters to have the Ring doorbell without doing damage to the door. Brilliant.

Solid Steel
This is the best made no drill door bell mount I bought so far. The entire cover & bracket are made of hard metal. I ordered a few I had to return because none of the doorbell camera I bought didn’t fit in them. They were also plastic. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return this as well because I haven’t a good doorbell that fits in it. The Ring seems to work for others but I’m looking for one that doesn’t require a subscription.

I really liked it. It solved a problem for me. It was easy to install and enabled me to put the ring directly on the door. It is a little large for my particular model but I put a bit of padding which helped. I would buy again
