It works well to clear up any skin issues

Since one of my loved ones is suffering from teenage complexion, I ordered this Anti-Acne Soap from Bamboo and Birch for her. Of course, I had to investigate it for myself beforehand.The first thing I noticed about this soap is the scent. It has a lovely light floral fragrance, more bright than sweet, and I like it a lot. Normally I do not like fragrance in facial skin care products, but I suspect this fragrance is added in to cover the strong odor of the sulfur. When combined with water the soap lathers very nicely, rinses easily, and seems fairly gentle on the skin. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that I do not even have oily skin, yet the soap did not seem to dry out my already dry complexion.After using this soap myself a few times I turned it over to my granddaughter who does have oily skin combined with breakouts. She also thinks it's great and shared that it is helping her skin quite a bit and she has had no new major breakouts since she started using it a week ago.All in all, both myself and the final recipient of the soap are very happy with how it performs and agree that the current selling price of $9.99 is very fair, especially since it actually seems to be working to improve her skin.Highly recommendedMade in the USA

I'm not sure how great it works for helping clear acne, but I wanted to get this facial cleansing bar because I wanted to try and use it as a solid cleansing bar for my toiletry kit. I was able to cut the bar into 1/4 of the size to make it easier to fit into my little matador soap bag and it's been working well as a generic facial cleanser.

The lingering smell of sulfur is awful I will not continue to use this

I have oily skin and did not experience dryness while using this soap, but I followed up with a non-comedogenic moisturizer. Since it contains salicylic acid, it can exfoliate the skin, though it may cause dryness or irritation if combined with other acne treatments. I've read that it might also help with certain fungal skin conditions, which I plan to try next.The inactive ingredients, such as lanolin and fragrance, may not be suitable for sensitive skin or allergies.
