Warmiehomy Thermostatic Valve, Victorian Traditional Twin Exposed Thermostatic Shower Valve Mixer Tap(Ceramic Handle)

My old valve started leaking & bought this to replace it. Came extremely well packaged in padded box and fabric bag so doesn't get scratched. Feels very well made. Stop switch that sets the temperature of the water to a pleasant warm. You can depress this and make it as hot as you can stand. Much nicer than my old valve and good price when you consider the free postage. Only been using it 2days but no complaints so far.

Looks really good and works well. My only piece of constructive feedback is to have more direction on the dimensions for the top section (which might help when considering this unit as an option) where the shower (I used 17mm pipe - which was not wide enough) pole fits in. In the end I purchased a chrome matching adapter (22mm to 17mm) which (replacing fitting provided) I screwed on allowing me then to fit the 17mm pipe. However once fitted spot on....

Standard shower connection does not fit this item. Unable to contact seller to obtain correct size riser for item. Otherwise excellent controller constant temperature out used with combo boiler.

The outlet for the shower hose is too large for a normal shower hose. So you'll need an adapter (male to male) from 0.5 inch to 15mm. Then your old shower hose should fit.Update, sadly after 2 weeks of use the unit has stopped working properly and now only gives you a tepid shower experience. Despite the boiler Being turned up the water temperature of the water is very mild. The product has failed. Not recommended at all

Well I had high hopes for this item, came very well presented, looked and felt a decent quality, installed very easily to replace my old leaking unit. It has been working well until this morning the ceramic handle fell off and I found the internal thread in the unit stripped. The thread on the handle shaft is very fine and not up to everyday use in a busy house! However the main problem is no information on where or how to claim on the supposed 1year warranty or about spare parts on the info provided?Yes I can probably "Araldite" the handle back in, but poor engineering on the most used part lets this product down!!

Tricky to install as it's so flush to the wall. Looks great and works fantastically well in terms of flow and temperature regulation. Now after 6 months the water ON lever has become so stiff it has almost seized up. OFF is easy, strangely. Has anyone experienced this? I'm going to buy some silicon grease for the o-rings and see that happens.

I needed to replace an old leaking shower tap of same brand, but the model is not made anymore. Worried all the shower tiles would need to come off to fit a new shower, then I found this on line and it was completely compatible.Added bonus of a separate water temp control knob, which old one did not have. Delighted!Looks smart and bright too

Looks a great product in all, I haven’t installed it yet just got it out of the bag and the front button (hot/cold decorative) is all crack and chipped, is there a way of getting a new one it looks like it can unscrew?
