its very comfortable surprisingly however the waist is not nearly as high as pictured and will for contain the desired area. i have a rather short torso so it must be very short for an average person.

This waist cincher is made of very poor quality and is extremely fragile. After only 2 years and washes, the lace on the sides is tearing and fraying. Also the back is much much lower than pictured and the cut is more bikini than that of a brief. I wear waist cincher all of the time and this one is the worst I have purchased by far.
