A great alternative to some other more pricey brands. Works great and the two bottles will last a good while.

Just to give an idea of how I tested this out:I've tried this out on myself as well as my two teenage boys.As far as my texture goes I have thin hair. No volume to it and it's medium length. I struggle with volume and my hair getting oily very fast. The day after washing my hair it already starts to look oily and flat.One of my sons has thick hair. Lots of volume. His hair gets oily pretty fast but it's not as noticeable.Other son has straight hair that is in between thin and thick. Doesn't get as oily.So it's a powder. White. Of course it's going to show on the hair when applying but with rubbing hands through the hair it quickly disappears and depending on how much we initially apply, it took a bit more hand work to get it to rub away. It's very easy to apply. A light dusting onto the scalp, rubbed all over. Nothing to it.For me, it was easy to apply. I applied it several times to the scalp and rubbed down into the hair just to get a really good coating. I struggle with volume so I know from experience that I need products such as this one. I shook my hair up, focused more on the roots, and the powder blended in well, left no clumps, and didn't look like dandruff. The powder disintegrates but leaves a lasting effect on my hair. Gave me a bit of volume and the oily feel and look was gone.My son with thick hair, it was great on him. He has black hair and after just one application it was easy to blend and rub away. No visible residue. Took away the oily look and feel. Gave him so much texture to work with. Looked great.My other son with medium texture, worked out great for him. His hair is so straight and it just sits right down flat but with application even he had a great texture that he was able to work with to give him a lush look.We are sold. We like the results. We don't feel itchy throughout the day. Doesn't show visible residue although, yes it's common to still feel a bit of dusting on the scalp and hair. It's to be expected but it's not so bad because this has such a fine powdery formula. It's not the worst that I've tried. Not even close. And to have two bottles is a life saver because my boys each get one.

I’m a woman but I wanted to try this because I don’t like the thickening shampoos I’ve tried, I don’t like hairspray or using very much product in my hair at all. I’ve also tried texturizing sprays but there very few o like the feel of.This powder is great, a little goes a long way and it’s like a sticky powder that I added to roots and worked into my hair. It gave so much volume and the stickiness isn’t like hairspray or bothersome it’s like added grip that allows you to give some lift to your roots.I really like it, I feel men’s products are a great cleaner version of what the women’s products I’ve tried out want to be, but without over complicating it, like it gets to the point, you need volume and gives you volume.Highly recommend it.Oh I also really like the packaging, it has a top seal under the lid so you don’t have to worry about it leaking out during shipping.

I've grown to become a huge fan of this hair powder, especially when compared to typical styling products. It's incredibly lightweight, matte, and washed out easily. It doesn't leave your hair greasy or chunky, and honestly doesn't even feel like you have product in your hair at all, which for me is a huge plus. I've been converted and will only really use products like this going forward. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot. You may find a new fav.

I tried BlackMask's Volume Powder for Men even though I am a woman because it was reasonably priced since 2 containers are included.It doesn't have any scent and is a kinda white/off-white color. Since I have dark brown hair, I needed to ensure it was well blended into my hair and scalp. Since it is a very fine powder, it wasn't very visible. It didn't have as much hold as I wanted, but I think that is because I have very long hair and it was made for men, who typically have short hair. When I first tried it, I put some into the palm of my hand. If I used my fingers to move it around, it did not absorb and stayed as a powder. However, when I tapped lightly on the powder, it was better absorbed and just left a very thin layer on the top of my skin. You may want to experiment applying it different ways to see what gives you the best results.

This product didn’t work as well as I’d hoped. It added some volume, but the effect didn’t last long, and my hair felt gritty and dry after using it. The scent was also a bit off-putting. While I appreciate the natural ingredients, the texture and hold just weren’t what I was looking for. It might work better for someone with shorter hair or less styling needs.

Despite that this says “for men”, I am always looking for products to help my hair look fuller since I have very fine hair. This product is awesome. I put it on my hair this morning and it gives the right amount of grit and texture without being too dry, looking greasy, or weighing my hair down. My hair still has movement but looks 10x thicker. I love that it comes with two bottles of it too. Great price for the results. I didn’t need much in order to give my hair body. It’s a very very fine powder, like soooo fine, which also is great because it doesn’t look like dandruff on my hair, haha. Honestly 10/10, I’ll buy again. Also, there’s no scent to it. I worried it’d have some manly scent maybe, but nope, which makes it universal for anyone!
