This is an excellent option for replacing a short projection D shaped toilet seat. It's a premium product made from hygienic white duroplastic. This is a heavyweight toilet seat in white, not a flimsy, bendy offering.The WC seat will fit pans with mounting holes between 66 - 166mm apart. Once you've fitted the compression brackets to your pan the seat pins simply slot into place.The seat is 425mm long by 362mm wide. The pan can be projected forward to a maximum of 454mm by rotating the top fix hinges. The adjustment available will depend on the width between the centre hole fixing points of your toilet pan. The nearer the width is to the 166mm maximum the less the forward projection adjustment available.When cleaning is required simply press the quick release button to remove.In use there will be no more slammed toilet seats in the middle of the night thanks to the good quality soft closing mechanism. This is an upgraded mechanism for handling heavier toilet seats.A good D shaped replacement toilet seat to fit smaller pans. Fixing broke after 3 weeks
Generally seemed like a good seat. Paid £36 for it and expected it to last a bit longer than 3 weeks. From the start the quick release wasn't really working. Had to fight to remove it from the basin. Overall the fixings let it down big time.

Item has just arrived with no damage to box however, upon opening, the lids has a crack across it ksee image). Hope for a quick return.

No longer soft closes after 4/6 months
Original seat was replaced after just 6 months of use.As it was in a holiday home the use was NOT consistent - in fact, 3 months usage would be genorous. No longer soft closes!Shower Enclosures (UK) sent a replacement which has also failed - no longer soft closing. Once again, usage would be maximum 7 months....
